My dad has this done on his 540i 6 speed. I just spent the day cruising around with it. Sounds heavenly. : )

I had a E36 325is previous. This was a very welcomed change.

Mine's an E46 325i... but it's automatic and I regret it immensely. Very boring.

There should be no effect on power. Pressure and flow is determined by the cats and y-resonator.
