  • @mamainmancj Thanks for tuning in and for your kind words about my father. The Lord bless you!

  • do what thou wilt... i remember crowley using those terms.... God Bless Dr. Martin, such a fascinating man of God

  • @zoltron30 Thanks for your kind words about my father, Dr. Martin. God bless you!

  • @cindeemorgan

    Dr Martin was your father???????

  • @zoltron30 Yes, he is my Dad....He has been home with the Lord for the past 21 years.

  • @cindeemorgan

such a powerful man of God. i saw video when he was on TBN. would have loved to see Dr Martin and Dave hunt debate!!! two powerful men of God!!!

  • @zoltron30 Thanks again for tuning in. =)

  • I THINK THE CALLER HAD NO COMPASSION...YES THESE PEOPLE NEEDED PRAYER. MAYBE SHE SHOULD HAVE SAID THAT SHE CARES AND THAT SHE WILL PRAY FOR THEM ...ITS THE LACK OF LOVE THAT IS MISSING IN CHRISTIANS THAT MESSES EVERYTHING UP..

  • People.... Notice how he was not afraid that what he was saying was going to " offend" these people. We've allowed the world to take away our boldness in speaking the truth for fear of being called "haters" or what not.

  • @CrappyApple001 Thanks for tuning in. Yes, without a doubt, speaking the truth in love is what we are called to do. Love will not fail to make the truth known to a dying world. God bless!

  • Dr. Martin was a great defender of God's truth. He set a great example of how all believers should live.

  • Walter was an awesome warrior for the Lord!

  • @sandytinky Thanks for your kind words about my father, Dr. Martin. The Lord bless you!

  • Excellent Post, Cindy! It's great to see Dr. Walter Martin again. He was/is Great!

  • @magic901 Thanks for your kind words about my father, brother. God bless you!

  • Well, i believe that people that switch religions is because they have not discovered the tru power of God and did not have an intimate spiritual relationship with Gid in the first time. And I think they are just into the surface of witchcraft, witches ARE followers of demons and Satan. My pastor used to practice witchcraft and Santeria, he explained a lot to us 8D

  • Is the female witch in this video possessed? watch her eyes.

  • @SolaScriptura21 I noticed her expressions are odd too.

  • Witchcraft is of satan. Either we are in God's Kingdom or we are in the Kingdom of satan. Two choices: two destinies. This is why missionaries risk their lives to bring the Gospel all over the world: to bring people into the Kingdom of God.

  • @pauljohn788 Amen! God bless.

  • Thanks for your kind words, Jane. =) The Lord bless you too!

  • Cindy. Thank YOU! I had the Honor to work with the the Christian Institute for a bit with Dr. Walter Martin! He taught me so much as far as truth from Satan's tricks and lies. I believe that Dr. Walter Martin led me on that Narrow Gate!

Jesus Is! Shalom and God Bless! Jane.

  • Quick Question: Do any of those who oppose Wicca/Pagan/Witchcraft realize that these are practices that PRE-DATED any Abrahamic religious tradition??? Meaning that they existed LONG before the idea of a Monothestic god concept ever came about! ***NOTE** I respect EVERYONES right to religious freedom and RIGHT to believe in whatever God they want!***

  • @lepndahood Thank you for watching and thank you for your input...Your comment, "they existed LONG before the idea of a Monothestic god concept ever came about!" is simply untrue.

God says in the Bible, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

Thank you for being respectful. God bless.

  • @cindeemorgan I was just about to write something similar to what you wrote and then I read your comment! Thank you for putting it in such a simple and understandable way!

  • @lepndahood : so what's your point? Sure , those practices were in existence before Abrahamic religious traditions, that doesn't make them "right" in God's eyes. ****** !!!!!!! ******* !!!!!!!!!********

  • @lepndahood there is only one GOD---you cannot make up who GOD is just because it "feels" right to you or anyone else

  • Witchcraft is Satanism. Any religion or tradition that opposes the true gospel of the christian faith is a Satanic cult!

  • witchcraft is the sin of rebellion.

  • what concerns me most is the freemason pastors!

  • This is ridiculous. I am a third generation pagan. I don't feel the need or want for any of the dogma associated with this type of negativity. Leave those alone that wish it. Everyone has a path. I do not try to keep you from choosing a path in life or discourage anyone from what their spirit needs Why would anyone want to discourage anyone from spiritual guidance? The creatrix is bigger than you or me or any other religion. I know when we meet our ends, it won't matter what path you chose.

  • @samhain1118 Sorry we have been behind on checking comments...You are right when you say, "The creator is bigger than you or me or any other religion." When Christians respond to what witches (and others) teach; they are responding to deception that will lead people to the pit of hell. If you see a train coming, and someone is on the tracks, do you try to rescue them? When we meet our end, if you do not know Christ your Creator, you will spend eternity in hell. Love speaks the truth. God bless.

  • Dr. Martin always reminded me of St Paul...His approach was always straight forward, informed and educated...He never got distracted and he never backed away from the truth...Even when faced with obvious attempts by people to present him with other 'gospels' he retained a stance of Truth....He could hold his own in the face of anyone...

  • @jiimiix Hi, thanks for watching and thanks for your comments. We do moderate comments because, sadly, there are a few people from time to time who only want to attack the guests, the people in Donahue's audience or Donahue himself. We will approve comments that are respectful and add to the discussion in a positive way. God bless.

  • The lady on the stage sitting next to Walter Martin looks like she's totally fried!

  • @cryinglion The glazed/crazed look in her eyes is disturbing. We pray God leads her to the Cross.

  • @cindeemorgan Well, she can't tell God later on that she never knew. You dad was a strong man of faith, and wasn't afraid to show it!

  • @cryinglion Thanks for your kind words!

  • @cindeemorgan Actually, Yvonne (the lady sitting next to Dr. Martin)was raised Baptist before discovering Wicca; AND is a member of MENSA (not very many people know that) . I, on the other hand, was raised Jehovah's Witness before converting to Wicca. Just to set the record straight....and "the glazed, crazed" look in her eyes was due to being both Gavin & her being cut off in mid-sentence....She HATES that!!! lol I told Gavin that this video is here on YT and he got a kick out of it

  • Look at her eyes there is something clearly not right with her

  • The Frosts are good friends of mine! :)

  • @DrGiggles68 Very interesting indeed. Do they still hold to the same belief system?

  • @cindeemorgan yes, they do; but as with everything else in life there were a few alterations that emerge through further study.

  • I found out recently that Mr Frost and I are related

  • I love how Walter Martin gets to the point there are two poles of power God and Satan! thus he proved everything he was saying in one sentence.

  • @42cody1 Yes, he sure did. =) God bless!

  • This Gavin Frost sums up completely what he believes when he states that he believes in "do what you will". That sums up the whole theme of Aleister Crowley, one of the most wicked men the world has ever known, in his philosophy.

"My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will." (Matthew 26:39)

  • Witches don't even BELIEVE in satan!!! Witchcraft predates the concept of satan!

  • @StinkadoodlePie Actually, some witches do believe in Satan. Satan definately predates the concept of Witchcraft. The Bible teaches Satan is a fallen angel, created by God and kicked out of Heaven because of his choice to do evil.

  • @cindeemorgan Some Buddhists believe in Satan, too, but it has nothing to do with their religion, either.

  • @cindeemorgan Cindee. Many Witches actually Worship Satan! Dr. Martin showed me a small glimpse of this in L.A. when I was a very young Christian! I learned a great deal from him. He is sorely missed for his insight and gift of teaching the clarity of GOD!

Jesus Is! Shalom and God Bless! Jane.

  • @Sholom1000 Thanks, Jane, for sharing that. =) The Lord bless you!

  • Walter Martin was an awesome communicator.

  • Wow, Dr Martin, two thumbs up!

  • Wicca is not evil and it's not of Satanic origin in any way shape or form. These Wiccan individuals barely got a chance to defend themselves during the attack that was scene here and the way they were treated was disgusting. The Bible is not a sufficient counter-argument to a religion that doesn't even believe in it! If the Wiccans were going to be attacked, the attackers could at least have used verifiable FACT, which the Bible is not.

  • @damnationofsociety Thanks for your thoughts....The Donahue Show was a one hour program. These short clips, that include my late father Dr. Martin, are specifically intended to highlight Christianity. The entire program reveals that Dr. Martin had less time to speak about his beliefs. Witchcraft is well documented as evil. Dr. Martin respectfully spoke the truth. Although some don't believe it, the Bible is God's Word. Unbelief does not change this truth. Thanks for watching. God bless.

  • Thanks for sharing this. It feels like this was so long ago in comparison to how our society believes today. It was so refreshing to hear people clap in favor of God and Jesus. The world needs many more courageous men like Dr. Martin. God bless you!

  • LOL, she actually said "you haven't done your homework" to DR MARTIN. I LOL'd... out loud.

  • Walter Martin is spot on about Witchcraft. These people are deluded if they think that witchcraft is okay and harmless. They have been deceived by the devil though they deny his very existence.

  • the chick in the middle is clearly insane

    watch her eyebrows

  • That girl makes the weirdest faces...

  • Thank you Dr Martin for being a beacon of light and representing the truth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ- and thank you for posting this video !

  • Yvonne Frost here looks like she stares into outer space.

  • Phil donahue was the reader /lextor at the catholic church we belonged to when I was a kid ,so it never surprised me whne he gravitated towards topics of faith ..I asuume he had a hunger for faith in christ...Cindee please keep you dads videos alive on the net as long as there is still interest ..I hate to see people copyright and pull peoples videos after someone dies and hold out their hand looking for a $..John osteen /gene scott and 1000's of others ..be proud that people loved your dad ..

  • Rick and I could not agree with you more. Thanks for your comments and your obvious love for Jesus Christ and the truth of His Word. We will make as much available as God enables us to do. God bless you!

  • @ cindeemorgan : I hear you. However I disagree with you on the point that witchcraft is evil. I do agree that people need the 'Lord' in their life. However, I no longer believe that Christianity has the monopoly on who the 'Lord' is. I was a born-again Christian so I understand your viewpoint. But pronouncing judgement on others for their beliefs is no way to declare one's love for God. Thanks for replying in such an honest, yet non-malicious way. :)

  • I appreciate your viewpoint and pray you turn back to Jesus. He is either Lord of all or not Lord at all. He leaves no room for compromise on this issue because Jesus is who He claims to be. As for your comment about "pronouncing judgment on others for their beliefs", I believe you misunderstood my father, Dr. Martin's, words. He passed judgment on the belief system itself---condemning witchcraft as evil. He did not condemn people but spoke the truth to them.

  • @cindeemorgan Your father was quite the erudite and vanguard of light for the fight against the cults. I appreciated his research in these religions as I didn't have the time or wherewithall to study them and his book the "Kingdom of the Cults" was extremely helpful. He was loving and very concerned for others' salvation and reaching out to them...and very adamant about his belief in Jesus and the Trinity.

  • He showed those people the love of Christ by telling them the truth no matter how unpopular truth often is. This is love, not judgment. God bless.

  • @keishalew, Saint Paul said in Galatians that people who practice witchcraft will not inhereit the Kingdom of God. They same truth is expressed in the Book of Revelation. You're opinion is irrelevant. What matters is what the Holy Spirit has revealed.

  • I notice that the Wiccans were not allowed to really make their arguments sufficiently. The Christian man was given the majority of the time. He was of course then able to develop his arguments and make his points.

  • Thanks for your comments. The Donahue Show was a one hour program. These are clips of it specifically intended to highlight Christianity, because Witchcraft is evil and people need the Lord. Dr. Martin had no more time to develop his arguements than anyone else there. He spoke the truth in love. God bless!

  • you are aware that Phil is an atheist

  • I think it was the matter of Walter being learned and knowledgeable.

  • @keishalew From viewing the video, it appeared to me that the wiccans had the first opportunity to speak, and it was not included on this video.

  • @keishalew I thought the Wiccans said their bit before this video started. Look at it, they're obviously half way through a conversation before it went to air. That's why Martin later said "Hang on I let you speak" when he was interrupted. Donahue also asked the Christian viewer and Martin a couple of hard questions at the beginning of the video.

  • Jesus is lord.

  • Yes. Joh 14:6

  • The ignorance on this show boggles my mind... This is no "debate" - you have to have two people really talking to each other for that to happen. And yes, as kevinneslund said - It's a nervous tic. This condition is more common than people think. To those who say demon posession: Do your medical research! I mean, honestly!

  • AMEN! I like that guy`s comment...4.39..4.52...God has nothing to do with witchcraft! "..there`s no connection btwn Charismatic Xtians who employ God the Holy spirit and witches who employ all kinds of gods and gods...there`s NO connection whatsoever"!! May God continue giving Walter Martin more wisdom and understanding to minister and inspire us with such confidence in our everyday`s life!

  • Thanks for your comment! FYI, Dr. Martin is home with the Lord, since 1989. God bless!

  • I wish I knew half of what Dr. Martin knows.

  • what is wrong with the woman

  • Walter martin is very inspiring i need to study more

  • the woman is demon possessed...see her eyes@ 4.18 onwards

Demonic oppression / possession causes these unnatural eye movements.

  • Hi. I know this is a bit late, however, I noticed this comment regarding demonic possession/oppression. Do you, or, can you provide a source for this comment regarding the unnatural eye movement? I would assume it were simply a nervous tic of sorts. There are many people with this condition that is simply an ordinary neuromuscular affliction. Cheers ~

  • awesome intro!

  • 'Do what thou will'

That was what the church of satan and Aleister Crowley advocates. I think I heard the Wicca mention that they believe in it.

  • Wicca is a hodgepodge mix of a variety of false teachings like witchcraft, sorcery and earth worship. Most of its adherents practice it because they feel they are craving attention or want some kind of supernatural powers. What a bunch of satanic garbage.

  • What year was this?

  • If you listen to the end of part 2 of this Donahue episode, there's an ad for a 1980 Mustang. So, this show was made sometime between late 1979 and mid 1980.

  • Madalyn Murray Ohare called christianity "hogwash" on Donahue. Hogwash is so 70's.

  • Madalyn Murray Ohare is dead.

  • Thanks for this teaching-

  • Ugh....Martin. Wicca is a resurgence of old British or Celtic Druidism. The Satan comment is actually correct, that harkens to Christianity, not Wicca. Wicca itself is almost a scientific religion, focused on equinoxes and the like.

Sorry to see a gent I otherwise respect deeply get his facts wrong, here.

  • I agree with doggysector. Dr Martin broke the ice for the layman in presenting apologetics to the public. And it is obvious that Donahue has a great respect for him! On to pt.2...

  • Wow, I loved this guy. I attended Dr. Martin's classes at Melodyland in the 70's and early 80's. What a great communicator. He had the ability to take the gospel and make it practical for the man on the street. Even Donahue didn't end up frothing at the mouth like usual.

  • "Don't knock what you haven't tried"

Right....I should not judge the murderer and rapist unless I've committed those acts...

    Worst...argument....ever

  • I find it interesting that many Wiccan's are bisexuals. They go into Wicca because there they have found a religion to suit and accomodate their evil lifestyles.

  • Indeed you're right. Most of the ones I've come across or have read about in the news are homosexuals. I would assume that Wicca considers homosexuality to be OK. The Church of Satan does too. There's no real differences between either as they're both anti-Christ.

  • @Apologist325 Gerald Gardner believed gay people were cursed by the Goddess. Gardnerian Witchcraft (or Wicca as it is mistakenly called) was not intended to be a gay friendly religion.

  • Walter Martin reminds me of Gene Hackmen.

  • lol... true

  • Walter Martin was an amazing mouthpiece of GOD!

  • I love Walter Martin alot he help me know why I hold to what I hold to, But I what not say he was a

mouthpiece of GOD. But I whould say he was a great teaher of GOD who is JESUS and did have a calling to the cults. if thats what you mean by a mouthpiece. But yes He was a great man of God :)

  • I never thought I would hear myself say this, but, I think that woman might be demon possessed.

  • Yeah, she looked like she wanted to attack Dr. Martin there a few times.

  • She looked demon-possessed

  • people are so blind and hard hearted they will do anything to justify their sin.

In Romans it speacks of creation being known to man and they will be without excuse, every knee will bow before the throne of God and say Jesus is Lord. but then it will be to late.

  • the woman's eyes and eyebrows speak volumes!

i wish we had great preachers like Dr. Walter martin in the public eye today.

  • The body of Christ lost a great brother when Walter Martin died but he is still agreat insperation to us in the counter cult ministry.

  • @Gideon6640 you're right Walter Martin was a great man of God

  • wat a wonderfully 80s show.

  • Listened to Dr. Martin on radio years ago. I admire the way that he was always prepared and kept his cool. Martin was a brillant man and a great defender of the faith.

  • Me to I love how he defended of the faith.

  • Exceptional speaker, debater, and author (Kingdom of the Cults). He is seen regularly on the John Ankerburg reruns. Great analytical mind and desire for the truth!

  • please i want More More this is Good stuff, Praise God For men Like Walter Martin, Truly seeing This Debate reminds Me of In ! corinthians Paul Says For the Message of the cross is Foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power Of God, thanks Cindee can you post more please, May God bless you More And more

  • And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death. Rev. 21:

  • I always wanted to see this. Thank you for uploading it!

  • We are glad to do it. God bless! =)

  • This video is years ahead of its time but so true and valid to have someone like Dr. Martin to take the stand he did. His teachings are so founded in the uncompromising teachings of salvation and are so important today for everyone. I express my appreciation for your willingness to post these videos and through the saving grace of Jesus Christ for those of us who believe that I will be honored to see your Dr. Martin and shake his hand for such a sincere job well done. Blessings to you always!

  • Thank you for your comments. God bless you!

  • Walter Martin, the Orginal Bible Answer man! I wish he was still here. The world needs more people to tell it like it is and not to sugar coat it. Walter did just that. It amazes me on how much he knew! I started to listen to him 4 years ago and never stopped!!! Thanks for the vid!!

  • It is amazing how the work the Lord does, through each of his children, lives on forever!

    God bless you!

  • Your father was truly a pioneer and carved the way for others to follow, so many times I was encouraged not to study and understand beliefs other than mine, I guess to pretend that they just didn't exist but I persisted and eventually came across Dr. Martin, I will never forget what strength and honor his good name gave and provided for me the okay to pursue a passion of mine to know what I believe and how to defend it. I was presented with three gospels at once when I received Christ.

  • Thanks for your kind words here and for writing to us. May God bless you as you continue to serve Him!

  • mad fornication sex drugs etc and paganism go hand n hand. wicca is satanism , how simple to trust them when they say they really do not worship the devil.

  • anyone that does not see that witchcraft is of the devil has been blinded by him.

  • good video.

  • Thanks for uploading this Cindee.Your father was the first one to get me interested in Christian Theology, the Cults, and Christian Apologetics.God Bless.

  • A true warrior for Christ. God bless Dr. Martin. I hope to spend at least a billion years with him in heaven, lol

  • Please delete comment from the closed account. Thanks:-)

"Praise God!!!! I thank God for Dr. Martin's dedication to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and his commitment to the truth!"

  • Thank you for the post. I sure wish I could see the debate between Dr. Martin and Madalyn Murray O'Hare.
