There are much more humane ways of feeding the tigers, such as sticking them in a small pen and feeding them readily sliced farm animals. It's a much more humane way of killing animals. If the tigers are under the care of humans, they must behave like humans. Humans eat readily sliced food, so must they if they wish to survive as a species. However, seeing some of the videos of american slaughterhouses, I do feel we should start with our own backyard, before pointing fingers at others.

Dont know how it is in American slaughterhouses but here in Sweden we have pretty strict rules how to treat, kill and slaughter a animal. People, what's the big deal. First off, the "tourists" are funding not only the feeding, but further initiatives to protect an endangered species. Secondly, the Tigers are just doing what they would be doing anyway....Killing their food. And third, it would be more inhumane to have the Tigers sitting there staring at the cage walls as apposed to giving them a task. At least they have something to look forward to. I would not say that it is cruel per se. What some people object to (and this video does not really show it) is people taking pleasure from the cow suffering. I doubt this is much worse from a slaughter house. There is just a sadistic element of enjoying a domesticated animal being dumped into a pen of tigers and being devoured.
