I'm guessing the TARDIS is supposed to dematerialise at the end there. And I'm guessing the Doctor just got knocked out of the TARDIS due to something going wrong.
the premise of the episode is that the tardis goes into the future by one week leaving him behind, so he has to spend a week waiting for her while its only been a few seconds for amy :D
@boysarefun Yeah, if I remember correctly, the episode is written by Gareth Roberts, and is an adaptation of his Tenth Doctor comic The Lodger, in which the Doctor crashes at Mickey's flat for a few days, waiting for the TARDIS to rematerialise.
