Uhhh , sorry this is an interview, not a debate on wether Quebec's or France's french sounds prettyer. I'm part French and part from Quebec, Quebec' french is not a dialect, it's an accent and of course they have a different way of speaking it than the French, I mean they are kind of a Dot on an English continent.. Just goes to show how different the culture is in English Canada vs. French Canada. Love the way this interview is done on this show... and most people I know have never heard of La Roux, which is sad. The music is great. Even if you don't like the music, you have to respect Elly Jackson quite a bit (well, I do anyway) for not being afraid to be honest about everything, even other Pop stars. Nicely done.

@ALKaudrey no she is not a hermaphrodite, she is simply prefers an androgynous image, not feminine nor masculine but something in between. She's talking about her style, not her personal sexual preferences.

Uhhh , sorry this is an interview, not a debate on wether Quebec's or France's french sounds prettyer. I'm part French and part from Quebec, Quebec' french is not a dialect, it's an accent and of course they have a different way of speaking it than the French, I mean they are kind of a Dot on an English continent.. Of course it has an influence on the French out there. God, just appreciate the video.

Just goes to show how different the culture is in English Canada vs. French Canada. Love the way this interview is done on this show... and most people I know have never heard of La Roux, which is sad. The music is great. Even if you don't like the music, you have to respect Elly Jackson quite a bit (well, I do anyway) for not being afraid to be honest about everything, even other Pop stars. Nicely done.

She's such an incredible lady. Alot of people think she's ugly.....but COME ON! Looking at this video can you honestly say that? She's utterly beautiful, both looks wise and her personality! I would consider myself the luckiest person in the world, if I was ever fortunate enough to meet her! Hopefully I'm still in with a chance :P

Im infatuated with Elly Jackson. I find her so hot its actually a little bit painful to watch her. Her androgynous is really sexy and her personality is the bomb. Im in love. I wish i could understand but the host is saying because she's so cute when she's embarassed, but I like how he sticks to his own language even though he speaks english. Always feel a little bit guilty when european bands are expected to speak English, but not the other way around.

No that's not the way it worked...Im from Quebec.The host really ask the question in french and someone translate what he says into her ears.If you look closer you can see it!Bye the way the host understand all that she says and he can speak it but it's like a way to promote the french (a language dying slowly)He stand up for his value.

Elly Jackson is not only an amazing musician, but her personality is just outstanding! I love her so much! Everything she says is just so smart! Her humor is also quite great. Also, I'd like to mention her feelings towards illegal music. I agree with her 100%. People should actually BUY the music, not illegally download it! All of the music I own is legal, and that hasn't killed me, so other people need to stop stealing music and actually purchase it. Like she said, it hurts musicians...

I bought the album, of course I did. Actually I chatted with the guy at HMV (Canadian) about La Roux and he had no idea who she/they is/are and it was great to help spread the word and support Elly & Ben at the same time.
