I gave about 8 000 pounds for mine 91 with the US spec ( 200-205hk depends on which gasoline you use )..

Yes the rx7 is faster stock then the mr2 turbo is stock.....

But the beauty for me is the mr2 with a lovely engine in the back ;-)...

We are talking about 1 second faster to 60mph 5,1-5,2 seconds and for the mr2 turbo 6,1 second. And you also have a perfect weight distribution on the mr2 50-50% :-)...

Hey man I used own a 95 plate twin turbo a few years ago. Sold it due to circumstances. What a fantastic car it was and so underrated. Always got hassle from clowns driving STi's which are a fast car but don't come anywhere the fantastic looks of the MR2. Used to think my prelude 2.2Vtec was fast till I took the twin turbo on a test drive lol

Sorry man, I'm sorry to hear that. All the more reason to get another one. It won't be the same as the one that you lost. I hate people that steal other peoples cars. If I ever found my MR2 missing, I'd find the people that did it and get my car back, and get some of my own back. If you get another one, get a quick release steering wheel hub, and this will at least throw them for a loop, when they find that they can't actually steer the vehicle.

There was two weeks before my license was returned and I was gutted that I wasn't going to be able to drive the MR2 when I got it back. She stepped up and offered me an alternator (£395) for two weeks use of the car. Would have been a bargain if she hadn't turned it into a tinfoil ball :-(

Lowering the car lowers the center of gravity on the car which improves cornering. For instance, SUV's lean a lot more than regular cars when the turn because the weight is so high off the ground.

So with all of the weight closer to the ground the car will not roll as much when turning into a corner thus improving the cornering ability of the car.

@JasonFaceplant lowering is a great thing, especially on these. You lower the car, you lower the centre of gravity. At the top end of mods, I reckon you can approach handling sharpness more like something such as the Exige :)
