@jthomas56 oh my god nothing is wrong fo fuck sake if ur running say 15 hundred horse power in a drag or show car u might want to think about a blow off valve otherwise there mainly for show, these engine come standard with no blow off valve

Compression surge dsnt blow your engine...

It will blow the turbo over time.... root the bearings etc...

But wont blow the engine.

yeah i know sorry but blowing the turbo at high temperature could cause several damages to the engine, especially the whole cooling bay

yeahhh you have a point.

Very rare for bits of metal from the front turbine housing to make it all the way through the intercooler to the throttle body and into the motor, but it is a possibility i surpose.

I've Heard of it happening with no front mount... but never heard it happen on a car running a frount mount cooler.
