Miami Vice wasn't excellent movie but the acting was great - Colin Farrell, Jamie Foxx and Li Gong of course. Li was just brilliant.

Mann's films are instant classics. Miami Vice provided great camera work and revolving camera angles but there could've been more action sequences. Personally, the transporting drugs on go-fast boats and Sonny's love interest kind of curtailed the movie's pace. The movie opned great but when Sonny and Rico went undercover to work for Jose the pace of the movie became suspended. This wasn't a bad movie and I hope Mann makes a sequel. Miami Vice on Blue Ray = A+

Miami vice was a masterful movie from Michael Mann, a master at the crime/drama. This was great, i can't stop watching it.

Michael Mann gives us a great movie in Heat and Ali. The he gives an ok movie with Collateral and Bombs out with not delivering on Miami Vice. WTF!
