  • there is just too too much... and then not any where near enough... and i missed so badly the just right... I show my brilliance thru criticism. Amen, (but don't ask me to upload my work...that might be "unfortunate")

  • @seanchristopherfranc What the hell are you talking about?

  • Sorry, but I can't feel the opening cadenza, I think this interpretation is ... let's say: unfortunate. The boy has good technique through. Orchestra is good, but they're loosing rythm about 6'50. For me: boy keeps rythm when he shouldn't and doesn't keep it when he should. Thanks for down thumbs.

  • Very good!!

  • there is too much damper pedal

  • Julian, you are one exciting pianist. I am very familiar with the Barber piano sonata and was only browsing when I came across this video. You and your very passionate interpretation make me want to learn this concerto. Keep it up. This was awesome!

  • Good effort with a difficult piece. The interpretation is a bit stiff and deliberate. More flow and imagination would help. As an undergraduate, Mr. Toha has the time to advance and improve in this direction. Best of luck to him!

  • This is an Unbelievable performance! This young man is definitely someone to watch out for. Well done.

  • Amazing!
