For what it's worth, seriously, if I was Jerry Bruckheimer, I'd consider making that whole "Joseph Smith and the Golden Plates" my next epic motion picture. Angelic visitations, ancient sacred tablets, polygamy, etc.; all the earmarks of a Touchstone Pictures film! It would need very little artistic licensing—as it's already colorful enough as is.
