I bought a 2010 Ford Focus from Calder Ford in Edinburgh, Scotland. Within 1 week it was back in the garage for a new coil and ignition system. Got it back, good for 1 month or so. Failed to start, back it went, New coil again. Since then its been ok, not good on fuel, nothing near what Ford say it will do. Very unhappy, good service, shit car...

@bigbad1000do7a I honestly wouldn't say that. Considering this is the European Focus, it should stay ahead of the competition. Since 1998, the Focus has outsold the Civic roughly 6 to 1 with good reason. Just go watch Top Gear. I just hope Ford brings the wagon. I would buy the wagon on the spot.

this Ford start looking like Hyundai, this looks the same as accent. Ford fusion however is a real winner and everybody agrees. I want to see that beast, the real American aggressive look. Also I hope that American cars reliability will reach Asian cars because I love the reliability of Asian cars (peace of mind) ,but I like the performance and the look of American cars.

I've driven GM cars all my life, but this car looks pretty hot. Good looks on the outside, and great looking interior. For me, it's the Focus or the Cruze. Civics and Corollas are uglier than shit, cheaply built, and overpriced (mainly the Civic).

ford is really stepping away from their boxy look now, a lot of these new cars have a more flowing organic feel and i think thats what makes them appealing...and their amazing performance, durability and quality, the 2012 focus is really a great looking car, hopefully they drop the ecoboost 4cyl in there too for a sports package

Just think. If this is the new face of Ford for its small cars along with the fiesta, what do they for there larger cars. Ford is going to be kicking ass. I feel sorry for GM. The best they could was the already bland Cruze. Nice but BORING. Ford has regained its style and class and they truly are turning out world-class global cars not just global cars like GM. Look out Toyota and Honda and maybe even Germany pretty soon.

I agree, the new Focus sedan looks incredible! Looks like a small Audi or BMW. This is definitely a gamechanger in the C-segment. I will be for sure buying the sedan. The new Focus was designed and engineered in Germany by Ford of Europe.

My sister has a Focus and she loves it. She use to drive a Toyota Corolla. She like the Corolla as well and it was reliable. But after 2 years driving the Focus she also have had no problems and she says the Focus is more fun to drive. She likes the looks of the new Focus 2012 better than the one she now has.

I'm disappointed with the exterior. The front end looks...I'm not sure there's even a word for it. Maybe it will grow on me. I HATE the hatchback for sure; the sedan looks MUCH better IMO. Looks great, comfortable, and fun to drive!! especially the sedan, I like how both front and rear are disk breaks!! And that plastic around the mirrors and doors looks fine to me, really like the plastic around the bottom to protect the paint from chips.
