The songs here were not recorded at the UFO club, whoever posted this just spliced in images from pink floyd playing at the UFO club at some other date. These two songs (Interstellar Overdrive and Nicks Boogie) were recorded live in a studio, which can be seen in this video when Pink Floyd is playing in a smaller well lit room and Syd is sitting down in a chair. Both of these songs were put on the album "London '66-'67". I was wondering if anyone could show me the link for the video alone.
I have the tonight lets all make love in london documentary. it doesnt have the full version of Instellar overdrive. Is this footage from tonight lets all make love in london? and was this released commercially in some countries? i think there are different and edited versions released all over the world??
@popgoiuuod You obviously don't play any instrument if you think it takes a musician to scratch a guitar. But you just go on enjoying "the brilliance of misunderstood genious" with the rest of the loonies. All 26 of you.
I wasnt going to respond but I just couldnt resist making a dope out of you. Even folks who dont play guitar understand what you call 'scratching' is actually called 'slide'.. can you say that? good.. in the future it will help you look a bit more credable ya dope hehehe. Slide guitar.. Also- Interstellar overdrive was in fact alot of noise and randomness- its psychedlic.. that was the idea.. Listen to the guitar in Lucifer Sam and then bash that jackhole. Scratching. funny..
@popgoiuuod None of the PF songs were alot of noise and randomness. Rick, Nick and Roger saw to it. And then they threw the looney out and brought in David, who could not only play (as the looney coudn't), but really play. Some wonderful slide guitar, too. Now go scratch your... guitar, genious.
Why does it all have to be so dark. Revealing views of Syd are few and frequent. I mean who wants to look at Nick Mason?

Without Rick this would be total tripe. He's brilliant. Nick and Roger are OK. Syd is just scratching his guitar a bit. Oh, what a genious...

I don't care if it's "rare" or not, I appreciate your having put it up here for us to enjoy and/or explore. Thanks!
