It looks cool, but also stupid. First off, Kinect was made to control a game or something in the game without a controller, in ME3, it is sort a voice command option. Why put that just on Kinect and not also for a headset... Thats surely for a Microsoft exclusive to get people to buy Kinect just for ME3. Recently, Binary Domain has voice command option in a headset for 360 & PS3. Again desperate Microsoft takes away something in the PS3 version of a game! FUCK YOU MICROSOFT!!!!!

This looks really good, buying kinect just for this. The response time seems a bit slow when using your voice but you do save a lot more time than pausing and giving commands. I think they could maybe improve on this a bit more with future games but this is a step forward for improving game-play.

The Kinect has the voice recognition software built-in so Bioware don't have to develop their own that they would have to if they used standard microphones.

It would take away resources from other aspects of the game.

I may try this out, if it works as well as it does demonstrated in the video. I see people saying that it's faster just to use the buttons, and to some actions that is true. But I personally feel that by using kinect in conjunction with the controller(e.g. using the controller for squad placements and environment interactions, and the kinect for biotics and weapon switching) I feel the overall experience would be, in my opinion, very fast paced and unique. But thats just my opinion.

Pretty cool. I would only use the voice command for commands that make sense. My Shep would not start yelling "open" or "pick up"...it looks silly. However, he might yell "Cover me!" or "Move". I plan to use voice command in this way.
