actually just a low bat problem, brakes are fine.

 Funny the alternate flashing of the ABS was the first thing I noticed on the dash also.

@hunsta The Battery voltage drops too low on starting. This causes an ABS fault. There are various ways to end this problem. One is to let the ABS start after the engine is running. (Disconnects supply with relay when starting). Another is to add a diode and a small 12v rechargeable (or big capacitor) between the diode and the ABS. The diode is to stop the small battery discharging into the system on startup.
