how pratical would an rc lawn mower be? i dont think you can navigate it very well unless you where next to it and what if theres no traction what then and what if you whant to bag your grass also i dont think i would trust modifying my own lawn mower if you know what i mean

@RLKx360 people use ours for slope mowing and the elderly and disabled love it. We even have a video control optional upgrade available - it is real and is a new growing market

@jaluttrell the maker shed has a device for monitoring moisture content for the soil in your potte plants, the device has blue tooth, so basically, when your plants need water, they can text messege you letting you know! :-)

witih that machine, chaotic might mean unpredictable or random, I wonder if that is right, seem in physics alot of motions are actually predicatble ... cause and effect, etc.

@trailkeeper They are predictable, but not without a hell of a lot of calculations. There are two moving bits, and each do of course move by the laws of physics, but trying to predict its motion on paper would be like trying to predict the path of a basketball through rapids. There are many factors, many possible sources of error, and while physics could put in a pretty good guess, even a computer simulation couldn't get it exactly right.

@Darwinpasta Even still, man kind can get pretty damn close with all the right equations. The thing is, it's true. With most things we'll never be able to get right down to it perfectly. Anything with the word "Chaotic" tacked on to the front, brings interest anyways.

@Darwinpasta Your right, I just needed someone to confirm the idea. As we see the machine it does look like a it's moving all kinds of directions like it has a mind of it's own. If the initial input to the machine, like the forces and height applied to it were chaned every time, then it is very much chaotic.

@getbusy21 It is about makeing stuff. But in order do give us kickass videos they need to push their magazine. Getting 12 videos or so a year with a little info on what's up in the magasine ain't to much to fuzz over. Noone works for free dude.

I once rigged up a RC mower. I simply fixed a large RC car to the frame of a lightweight push lawn mower, and removed the handle bar and any other un-needed hardware on the mower. It was pretty cool.
