  • Sound of Silence by Paul Simon with the thought of peace & unity.wmv

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nowdays is Chicks, Money, Drugs and Having Fame...

  • @JLRockOfficial

The hiphop subculture was about coming together as a community, helping one another, and offering political and social commentary. The best way to conquer really is to turn a group of people against one another, just look at all of the conflicts that exist within rap.(coast wars, genre/artist grudges)The shift in goals(cohesive existence to material goods)places artists at odds with one another, competing for resources. How long will it be until rap returns to its roots?

  • Yeeeeeeaaaaaaah, mis those day's

  • Lol @ more white and latino then ever. First of all, I guess someone forgot that Latinos were there from the beginning. Go back and watch Wild Style. Second, Afrika Bambaataa used to specifically throw rock records into his mixes for the white people that started coming to his shows. What part of love and unity are you not understanding?

  • is that will smith in the balcony?

  • 21 NAZI CUNTS

  • this is actually the best shit i've ever seen in my life.

  • FUCK ODD FUTURE.. FOR REAL

  • The mainstream hip hop we have today is what happens when capitalism meets art.

  • @LavenderBlume omfg you're so damn right.

  • hip hop fell in the trap of too much popularity, it inflitrated entertainment biz to the extent that pop culture now dominates the very core of the style, I mean the "hip-hop" is much whiter and more latino than ever before. Where are the African rhyming and chanting elements? Jazz samples? Mainstream forgot about those a decade ago.

  • @Yozanace That's what I'm talking about. Jazz samples. Blues...Shit like that.

  • This is the real spirit of Hip Hop all other is bull shit.

  • Good song... but that guy needs 2 workout!

  • @nihang01 well in that case the Notorious B.I.G needed to work out, as did Big Pun, Bizmarkee etc. weight has nothing to do with it. If hes dope hes dope. Ja Rule was ripped and he sucked balls lol

  • Peace, Unity, Love & Having Fun that's what hiphop is about! The peole make hiphop what it is.

Not: n words, bitches, hoes, thugs, pimps, ciminals galore.

Even my (societal) conditioning has been conditioned.

The greatest weapon of the oppressor (power eltie) is the mind of the oppressed (citizens).

Just look what Corporate America has turned hiphop into ie hippop- full of every vile negative African American stereotype you can think of and more via MTV, BET & Clear Channel Radio 24/7 365.

  • This is as real as gets right here people.

  • Delivers a real great message!

  • Pour les parrains de Franco Yannig Korrigan et Mafia THE.

  • Wow I sure do miss music like this.

Music isn't even about music anymore, it's about making as much money as you can off negative attention.

  • drugs are not bad... just the way you use it will define what you are as a person....

sex its not bad.... but please just use condons!!!!

unity could be possible.... but we need to be more tolerant!

having fun is the combination of the others... just please remember everything in excess It's bad for heal!

    sorry for my bad spelling!

  • you know what they say about a load of black's in a single room?......... AIDS?

  • @merr82 is 4chan down or something?

  • ZULUUUUUUU!!!!!!!

  • HIP-HOP !!!!!!!!

  • RAPMANIA!

  • somebody, anybody! how do I get my hands on a recording of this song?! por favor!!

  • I hated that running shit that people use to do. Now people do that stanky leg, jerking bullshit.

  • Back when gangs did shit that mattered and made a dent in society...

  • LOL! Sistas was killing it! 1:56

  • trueskool

    zulu natioin for life

  • back when hip hop had a positive message not like todays music

  • the only reason why the world is not hearing positive essages is because the record companies wants the world to be negative. Many new musicians in rap, rock, pop and any other form of music are afraid to stand up bc A) they will loose $ B) their reputation will be destroyed. Somebody has to go against this negative program and educate the mind's with positive messages

  • Dats a fact

  • @henrysour Hiphop always had a negative and positive message. Even back in the 90's.

  • Afrika Bambaataa the king of hip hop

  • Awesome song!

  • REAL HIP HOP FOR LIFE!!!

  • I think half of these guys should be shipped to Iraq to scout ahead for IED's before the Army & Marines arrive there in Afghanistan & Iraq,

The other 1/2 should be flown to N. Korea...... !!!!!! Afrika Bambaataa, is different somehow.

  • Ah yes...the years when hip-hop was actually good....

  • You're - WE'RE - showing your age......

Now hip - hip & rap are all about sex, drugs, bitches, texting & popping a cap in someone's ass. AND bling - bling & stylin' w / spinner rims, etc.

Afrika Bambaataa is actually very GOOD !

  • totally agree

  • back when hip hop was funkay!

  • what happened to the Peace, unity, love and having fun??

now its all about sex, drugs, money, and auto tune.

  • and to say that son of a bitch fat dj khaled took one of his beat... to use it on wack ass rappers

  • @graffiti91 sex, drugs, money and auto tune? you just gave me an idea for a song!

  • @ezzthemc funny thing is LOL if you make a song like that I gurentee you because of the way people are these days i twill be a major hit ROFL in the usa at least

  • @graffiti91 well its not like we can do anything about it but people are trying to keep the "Peace, Unity, Love & Having fun" alive and that it would never be forgotten :)

  • @graffiti91 you know this!

  • @graffiti91

It's shameful how New Age Hip Hop is so SUCKABLE!!

  • @graffiti91

    peace-drugs

    unity-money

    love-sex

    having fun-auto-tune

  • @graffiti91 thats just mainstream rappers. everyone still keeping it raw through bboying, dj-ing, graffiti

  • @graffiti91 respect.

    auto tune xD

  • @graffiti91

Well I prefer sex, drugs and money to peace, unity, love and having fun...

Auto tune on the other hand...

  • @wayzey

love: includes sex but not like the horny ass rappers these days

unity: without it, look what happened to Biggie & 2pac

peace: it would save millions of lives, but you'd rather have drugs that's a dirty way of making money

How shallow can you bee really

  • @PRtoRP

    Sex: The act of love

Drugs: Tens of Millions of lives are ruined by drug laws when only a small ten or so thousand people die each year from drugs.

    Money: Self-Explanatory

Love: Women use it to deceive men and people kill themselves over love

Unity: Depends on how you define unity

Peace: Everyone has their own views on peace. So if we did have world peace then it would not be world peace as the different views people have on what peace is would cause conflicts.

  • @graffiti91 No man not every one! The peace, love and trust is comming around this time 2011!

  • @graffiti91 looooooooooool

  • @graffiti91 I think by "having fun" he meant sex, drugs, and money.
