Tremendous.Though to say the likes of Aretha Franklin isn't in the same league as Streisand is somewhat disengenguous.She's been at the top of her game just as Barbra has.I know it's just personal opinion,and I truly do love Babs,but she has churned out some crap in her time,in the same way other vocalists have.I just don't think it's helpful to place her on some 'perfect' pedestal.BUT,as I've said,it IS all about personal opinion.
I think that Barbra Streisand has the best female singing voice of all time barring non..........Beyonce, Celine Deyon; Madonna, Leona Lewis(maybe not);Cher, Aretha Franklin,and all great female singers before and in the future.............BOW YOUR HEADS.
@orac1waterskiing I agree that Barbra Streisand has the best female singing voice of all time ,the only other signer in the group you mention that is even remotely close in comparison is Celine Dion. The others don't even come close.

Streisand is THE DIVA
The female singers in the 2000's don't reach the top of her shoes.
The musical range Barbra has is phenomenal as Barry Gibb said when they recorded 'Guilty pleasures'
And everything she sung with the backing of the BeeGee's put something different into the equation: it was special.
