Do you have to connet the monitor directly to a light switch? It just seems odd to have to turn the light on in order to turn the monitor on. Can the monitor be on continuous or on a motion sensor?
Before tracing the cut-out for any old work box, cut a small hole to verify stud placement; then trace and cut. You did the opposite in the video. If you're stud finder had missed, the customer wouldn't have been happy about all that pencil marking on the wall. Just a tip from one contractor to another. ;-)
Ya, the funny thing is that it actually took 3 holes to find one that we could fish down. There was something weird in that wall that shouldn't have been there. I wish I had an x-ray machine. It's probably just an 80lb brick of shrink wrapped hundred dollar bills. That happens all the time.
Aren't you suppose to have a gfci* outlet in bathrooms or near sinks??

You can trigger it with motion or have constant power to it, or use several other ways of triggering it.
