Actually, this is on legendary... Notice that when the Pure forms melee him, he loses half to two-thirds of his shields - this is only on legendary... Also, it took several shots from the covenant carbine to kill some of the pure forms - this is only on legendary as even on heroic, they normally take only a few well placed shots...

This level was confusing...but I thought it was really interesting. The whole idea of a flood-infested Covenant carrier was really impressive imo, and the story behind it was interesting. (the Gravemind trying to mess you up in the head, and Cortana slowing going rampant) It definitely ranks lowest in the game, but its not really bad, its just different.

I have to hand it to ya. This ain't the easiest level in the world, and the skip you did with the grenade was pretty hard to, but you pulled it off almost flawlessly. Obviously this could be improved, but it's still better than what I did.

This is not legendary. The guys die too easy; some of them take two hits on legendary. You don't die fast enough. Additionally, the spawning of the flood is different from legendary (6:10), more guys spawn on legendary. Most people show that they are picking legendary as a difficulty when they tape their speedrun; you jump right into the speedrun. Pretty good chance this is fake.

okay two things. first of all, the screen after the mission is over says this was done on legendary difficulty. and also, there's a 150 G achievement in Reach Called a monument to all our sins for beating the Campaign (not including lone wolf) on legendary.

I used this speedrun on legendary at least 4 times and i have never seen the flood act dumb when i play.

Even tho this helped he loads get past the hard parts i have to say that when i play their are more flood and they have never been as tame like in this video. the flood are always after me even when i follow this video from every jump to cammo grab ( i need camo !!!)

but if this is real i say he is lucky the flood were stupid at the time

the covenant doors are one of the worst parts of the halo 3 level design. instead of aesthetically pleasing glowing partitions, they're crude solid barriers that don't fit the covenant art style at all. at least they kept soft, chiming tone, but it's too quiet.
