The whole movie felt like a fanfic.But I did like the series for the first season and a half. I just dont like Ahsoka. She is a decent character and all, but her being Annikan's apprentice doesn't fit in with the canonical story established within the novels and comics set in the clone wars.

My one thought about the story is I didn't get why Jabba was suddenly so important. Why don't they use his trade routes without his permission? He's a gangster, not an all powerful emperor with an army.

That was actually the part of the movie that made the most sense to me in the movie; If he's a gangster he'd have guns positioned in the right places, and while the republic COULD use them without his permission, they'd need to fight him to do so, and they're already fighting a war.

My hubby and i went to see it Friday night. Sadly there were only a handful of people there. My husband loved it I thought the beginning went too fast but once it got past the opening battle the storyline was good. Hubby went to see it again the next day. Still only a few people were there.

I don't think that they promoted enough. I didn't even know it was coming out this weekend. And to have it during the olympics is just a bad idea.

 It looks good but I am going to catch Tropic Thunder first.
