he uses custom Ibanez guitars. the fretboard is Steve Vai's fretboard, at least the design is. other than that i have yet to find anything

He plays his custom guitars, which are built by Christophe Capelli. He was introduced with this french luthier by Dominique Leurquin - the other guitar player from Rhapsody (now he plays with them) who also uses Capelli's guitar.

it's 22 fret guitar (Luca doesn't feel comfortable while playing on 24), Pickups: Seymour Duncan TB-8 (bridge) and DiMarzio Humbucker From Hell (neck) and Floyd Rose tremolo bridge.

Luca has 3 guitars: red, blue (for solos mainly) and the white one - for rhythm.

Thanks dude! How did you know that? If I have Frontman 15R and some cheap electric guitar with 2 double coils will I be able to play like him? :D At least close to sounding? Of-course not so good quality but still something like him? I would like to play Rhapsody songs but it seems they use like 90% of the time two or more guitars and many other instruments.

I'm pretty big fan of Luca and a big gearhead, so I always want to find out things like that. He speaks about his guitars in the "Visions from the enchanted lands" DVD - buy it - it's worth the money.

You can order guitar with the same specifics at Capellis homepage, but if you're not so rich, you might want to buy an Ibanez S470 or S570 - Luca used to use S series back then, when he didn't have these custom made ones. Throw there the same pickups and you're good to go! :)

ascolta il motivo di questa pausa è che joey demaio, bassista dei manowar e manager dei rhapsody, ha fatto delle storia tramite la magic circle music (casa discografica fondata dai manowar e con cui i rhapsody hanno un contratto), volendo i diritti d'autore su alcune performance live e su i primi cd dei rhapsody, inoltre altra clausola del contratto, gli è stato imposto ai rhapsody di suonare solo in alcuni paesi e come gruppo spalla dei manowar. qui sono nati i problemi!
