islam is evil and must be stopped. i am not speaking from a position of ignorance; on the contrary when i was younger i admired islam and even thought of converting myself. but then i looked deeper into islam and islamic history and all i could see was an violent cult started by an arabian warlord (mohammed) and the quran as nothing more than a political manifesto that he and his successors used to create an empire by force. in my opinion, i have seen the truth - and that is that islam is evil.

@MrCITIZLAND - I am not sure of your experience with Islam. But when we talk about Islam we need to speak about in the position of knowledge. We cannot judge the religion by the actions of people, rather we need to judge the religion by the teachings that are found within the Quran and Sunnah (traditions) of the Prophet. If you ever want to have a discussion based on knowledge, proof and evidence, then I welcome it. But accusations are not welcomed.

@Abusumayyah i have attended numerous debates with muslims before and there, the contradictions with islam have been exposed - for instance, muslims say that the killing of apostates and adulterers is not sanctionned in the quran - but is in the hadith. muslim jurists differ over whether it is an acceptable penalty. as for not judging a religion by its adherents, muslims do that all the time when they criticise christianity and use the same old cliches- the spanish inquisition, the crusades etc

We follow the law of Allah SWT, the almighty God, that has been applied by all of his prophets, Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus, and others peace be upon all of them. @elisfsharri as far as i am concerned i have been guided - and that is away from islam. islam was established by mohammed, he and his followers created it by amalgamating existing pagan rituals with the judeo-christian/nestorian beliefs that were around in 7th century arabia. mohammed changed islam according to the realpolitik situation on the ground; he was a cunning and shrewd man
