OMG GINGER BAKER LOOKS LIKE A FRIGGIN PSYCHO KILLER, no wonder Jack dont want to be around him anymore, enough drugs of the wrong combinations does that to a person.
The paradox of Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce's relationship is,for all the fighting, they obviously liked working together.
Baker got booted out of Hawkwind because he was pressuring the band to fire the bass player and bring in Jack Bruce and they worked together some years later with Gary Moore on guitar.
The Clapton clip where he's talking about Hendrix is a little sad...I've seen the interview,I think it's from 1979,and he's visibly drunk.
yes and no. I think that they clearly admired each other's abilities but they did not always enjoy playing with each other. The depth of Baker's animosity towards Bruce really comes out in this documentary (which is excellent BTW) and it pre-dates Cream.
Yea Ginger was not just a saint, he was god, a shame Jack and Ginger couldnt patch things up back in 1968, cant believe they are still at each others throats today

if the members of Cream weren't such powerful personalities, they wouldn't have been able to create such music
....they'd be more along the lines of say, Herman's Hermits, or something

ICONS. All three of them. Wow. Powerful people. I want to see this. Ginger Baker is the most intense skinny, 68 year old since William Burroughs.
