I hate the AI to i was killed by 1 of my own survivors since i lost most of my health 2 the covicts burt or aroan shot me with a shotgun and i died had 2 strt the game all ovr but at least I saved my PP

Oh yeah I remember those guys, ya the first time I fought them I wasted them with a mere pistol, the second time I got a little bolder with a katana, then they dusted me.Being in my boxers was no fun, I beat about 5 of them to death with a stool and beheaded 2 of them with the saw blade, then I saw the sword.I ran over and grabed it then used it to hack them to pieces.Kinda reminded me of the beginning of Brutal Legend.

wow riched saved u! i usually do NOt give him a shot gun! I mean gettign accidentally shot by a survivor does takes it's toll. I orefer a sub machine gun for him. I also love sally mills! she follows directions VERY well for a female survivor which says alot since female survivors tend to get very distracted n r slow by default. I love her when she says " just leave it to me! aahh my girl!

The AI is so stupid in this game, I got so pissed off because my survivors (I had 8 following me after I rescued Jennifer) got stuck by the billions of Zombies in the plaza. I ran out of time because I had to run back and rescue a survivor who got stuck on a bench on the other side of the Plaza.

I was very lucky on this scoop. I was in the warehouse with all 8 survivors, they had low health. Another source had like, 15 IRL seconds left. I ditched the survivors, rushed the security room, made it (barely), dashed to the warehouse. Barbra had no health (as far as i could see) but was still alive. At least Everyone made it.

wat i did i just kept playing the 8 hours and rescuing all 50 people, don't do any missions. the people give you enough pp to get to 50. oh and don't suck at the game.

ya that happened to me to. i had the three survivors from hatchet man, jennifer, and the 4 girls from above the law, and the first time i saved and ran out of time as soon as i got in the security room. so i tried again and left them all in the warehouse. to my shock no one got seriously hurt (i still wish rich would have died though)

You can obtain books that multiply the durability of melee weapons. There are three that work on the small chainsaws. They are Criminal Biography in Sir Bookalot (Wonderland), and Entertainment and Engineering in Bookporium (Paradise). With all three books, the small chainsaw will last roughly 3000 hits.

Yes, just not as many as the small chainsaw. The big chainsaw can be enhanced by both the Criminal Biography and Engineering books.

That has nothing to do with it, as you can't really speed-run Dead Rising; the game takes six hours to complete no matter what you do.

In this instance, I don't have time to be cautious because I have less than five minutes before the next scoop expires.

You can't get Frank the Pimp on a perfect run, unfortunately. The easiest way to get it requires you to let at least five survivors die.

Would it have been faster to take the stairs after Jennifer? Because normally there are fewer zombies or cultists on the upper floor.

Not really. I find it's faster to risk a few zombie bites by going in a straight line than to try to get the survivors to navigate the stairs, if for no other reason than that the zombies tend to spawn in nice tight little bundles on the staircase landings.
