As per my understanding, the first green layer of thick molecules is of Cl -ve.
The yellow depicts void and then comes magenta small sized ions of Na +ve, fits in another void.
The second layer is of Cl-ve again, covering Yellow and making them tetrahedral void and obviously the second now becomes octahedral.
Similar thing repeats.
Correct me if i am wrong.
