lol figures, they made me wear goggles this year for my school's team... i didnt want to wear them, but thinking of getting in the the eye...not pretty...
lol the worse i got, was hit in the face with a badminton racquet..when i went to pick up the birdy..when the girl went for an underhand clear..lol i dont know why she went for it since it was out of bounds anyways...lol i guess i did her a favour..lol
im not sure about other countries..but its here in Canada now, that players born from 1987 or later MUST wear eye protection during games/tournaments..im not sure about prescription eyeglasses though..i think its a bad idea..those kind of glasses are terrible and unfair..it will definitely throw your game off..with glares from lights, fogs up, drops, scratches etc. i say ppl with 2 and half - 3 years experience dont need them..
yeah, i find that rule stupid to be honest. why only canada? its like asking rugby players to start wearing padding or marathon runners to run with ice packs, or boxers to start wearing helmets.
there aren't that many people injuring their eyes because of badminton to call for such a rule.
actually i think its only in Ontario Canada right now..i know that its gonna be forced from other parts of Canada sooner or later..and maybe the U.S too..i have no idea why..maybe an injured kid's parent(s) started bitching about..until they gave in.
ok retards, stop asking if they're not on the nationals, anyone with even the slightest knowledge of badminton wouldn't ask that. I suppose it was fun for you guys to play like that, meh.
These young players are awesome. Well, they are not as good as young players from Indonesia or China that I have seen, but they are still good and very inspiring to young players in other countries. Very creative. Keep up the good work!
this wasnt bad actually the target practice and picking up smashes was actually a good idea but not to be mean the smashes these kids were hitting didnt look very hard.
lol strip badminton...i have to try that.

Pretty good for the age, but the doubles game that was men v. women was too defensive. There should be more offense. It's doubles, not singles.
