  • Thank you dalekenbuck for sharing this long lost gem. Sheriff Tim McSkye is the best. I bet Dennis Weaver (the real "McCloud" is laughing hysterically at this spoof of him. We really have become a "dumbed down' nation". Where has all of our creativity gone? This movie is so BAD, that it is actually funny. Thanks for making me laugh.

  • I LOVED this movie when I was a kid, I saw like... A gazillion times, and wish there was a copy in dvd at least to watch it again...

  • The Kojak spoof was hilarious. lol

  • I can't believe I found this on here.

  • I can't believe he licked his lollipop!

  • RIP, Don Adams.

  • This is awesome!! Never thought I'd see it again!! Thanks for the memories!

  • So much for spending the last 20 years building up my DVD collection. Now thanks to the sagging global economy, I'm so dirt poor I have to pawn them off in flea market sales just to eat. Falling back to VHS now, 'cause it's cheaper. Forget Blu-Ray: in this economy, who can afford the upgrade? Here's hoping I find a surviving VHS copy of this old gem. (Er, assuming it was ever released to home video in the first place. Is this a retail copy or a home-recorded cable grab?)

  • I first saw this on a Friday Night in May or June of '81, at all of 10 years old.

  • I remember this! I watched many times as a little boy. Never thought I'd see it again. Thanks!

  • @snagatep Me NEITHER!

  • @ScottyA222 These are not just movies and TV shows they are part of our cultural life. It is an aspect of many peoples fond memories. It is wrong to lock them away because a new medium like DVD came along and the studios make a cold calculaction that they won't convert it to a DVD because it may not be worth it. Doing that hurts the culture because if you grew up with this stuff it becomes a loss for you. That's how I feel anyway. I think we are lucky we grew up in an era when TV had quality.

  • omg i knew i hadn't made this movie up in my head. lol thanks for posting!

  • I saw this when it first came out. My favorite part is when 'Hatch' sees the Alien spacecraft over his shoulder while riding the balloon. #LOL

  • @DrGeneSquatt Wouldn't you know... the ship just happened to from the original 'Galactica' armada, from the film vaults of Universal----no doubt the same studio which produced this feature.

  • Thank you very much for uploading this film. I saw this film 30 times when I was about 6-7 years old (born -76) with swedish subtitle which I could not read but I loved it.

I thought that I would never see it again although I have search for it in many years without progress.

  • intro done by Don Adams

  • oh my god i have searched forever for this. i remember watching as a kid and i to thought id just imagined it. wish tv was more like this today instead of all the reality crap. thanks for posting

  • I remember this as a kid. Loved it then and now.
