  • Also use after run oil when you store your aircraft, neutralises the fuel so it doesn't eat your engine inside out.

    I always use after run oil, it apparently didn't help for this engine

  • My local hobby shop sent it back to Graupner, Germany.

    They don't claim it runned lean, but they say it was completely rusted.

    That's weird, because I always let the engine run dry after a day of flying, so there's no methanol in the engine when I store it at home.

    And the engine never stood still for longer than one week.

    It was a warranty claim so I got a new engine for free that runs fantastic on my Kyosho Pitts now.

  • Lean run, nothing wrong with the engine itself. 100% operator error.
