Watch the video of "The Chosen Legacy" in my favorites. The double bass is at least 40 % faster in that live video (at 2:55, it's around 310-330 BPM). Don't talk crap to me until you watch the video. If you say I'm wrong, I'll only listen to you if you actually watched it.

of course , "The Chosen Legacy" , played by Hellhammer on the album , is faster. It is 16th notes at 292bpm but it is played with Heel Toe (double strokes) and Mike is playing Single Strokes , thats a big difference!

Yes, there's a good number of drummers who can play around 330 bpm or so but remember to beat the record you have to play continuously for a full minute, 5 or 15 minutes. I've heard some death metal guys play 300 or better for some good stretches but never more than about 20 seconds.

this guy is not the fastest at the one minute foot singles. Go type in "worlds fastest drumming - Feet 1087 (doubles)" and look at the (what should be the first video) with the guy that has the electric drum set. This fool does 64th notes perfectly smooth heel toe, heel toe.

At world record levels, the smallest bit would mean annihilating. When you reach these levels, there's only so much you can improve.

a 4 stroke difference is like a .02 difference in the world record for 100m sprints.

I don't put much stock in youtube video records. I remember that Lord Marco putting up one with ten billion bass singles in it then he went to WFD and was almost beaten by a 13 year old girl. Waterson needs to go back to NAMM and reclaim or stop his games. I also remember him once saying that everybody sets the record at home. He knows better.
