@celpabedn You must come and get empowered. The retreat at Temescal in LA is a perfect opportunity to spend time with a living Master and to get initiated. If that's not possible then check the teachers page on the main website: hamsa-yoga(dot)org.
The surrendering he is speaking of is the surrendering of the ego to divinity. Or you to a power greater than you. I highly recommend starting there if you are seeking enlightenment. Your mind, by itself, is finite. Wouldn't it make sense to tap into the infinite? Imagine a computer with no internet connection. Even the best machine is limited by what it can do standing alone. Plug it in to the internet (the infinite) then it has power. See where this is headed?
@tastefuljam but what if it was traumatic horrifying and ugly you wouldn't want those images or rememberances the next life would have to be spent forgetting that life
because of great delusion you ascribe to yourself as a physical body that have to experience death someday.you as soul there is no death its only transformation of the rate of vibration of your level of oneness to God that is in you.
I am not understanding the purpose of surrendering... surrendering to death only makes sense if you have this belief that there is something after it. I think we secretly suspect we do not (or not so secret in my case) and this is the root of our will not to surrender. We view it as suicide. Why should be plan for an afterlife that may not be? Is it guaranteed?
Surrendering is not to Death but Surrendering is to the Supreme. About after life I feel Richard Bach put it very well when we wrote "What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls the butterfly"...just my musings..
Very enjoyable videos, they are quite in line with My Guru and the path I am on. There seems to be an opportunity to work directly with the Guru and this is also in line with what is taking place in my path
HamsaYogi - You are doing a great service to Humanity by having these illumining videos for all of us. keep up the good work, while keeping the spirit of humble service alive ;)

If we do not remember oour past life then we are, for all intents and purposes, dead.
