  • Douglas Dietrich has some fascinating information re: the Fugo ballooons and WW2 hidden history.

  • Right On John RIP

  • The Japanese did use balloons during WW2 and some of them did land in America but not near highly populated areas

  • Indeed, they were balloon attacks, and a central part of Keel's talk was this strange "amnesia" that seems to exist with respect to the recent past. With Fugo Balloons, the Japanese bombed parts of the west coast with the intent of starting forest fires. There was at least one example of people killed by a direct hit, but, the story seems to have pretty much vanished from our collective memory.

  • @VideoDave2 i;ve heard of these fugo balloons ,,how did they get them to decend on california???why did they not just keep floating across america ??? was it to do with the jet stream weakening at that location??

  • @whoarethebrainpigs RE: Getting fugo ballons to dscend. Ballons descend by releasing the flotation gas. Long before GPS so I don't know how they knew when, and every thing low tech, but, they still knew when to start descent. I sounds pretty wild, but, I vaguely remember something about star navigation. I think Keel went into more detail in the full talk.

  • balOOns? lol
