  • First of all, the song didn't debut until the 60's, k? Great song... sort of ;)

  • Even if everone wants to crucify you for posting this as the Manhatten Tranfer. I still think it's the idea that counts. Still a cool-cool kitty song.

THIS IS THE AD LIBS, but I do like MT's version, too!

  • this is NOT the Manhatten Transfer...this is the original version...anyone with ears should be able to detect that 40's/50's sound to their voices

  • this is NOT the Manhatten Transfer...this is the original version...anyone with ears should be able to detect that 40's/50's sound to their voices

  • This is the Ad Libs, not Manhattan Tranfer!!! Very misleading!!!

  • @love4uand4me You got that right. : D

  • Wow, this song only came out in 1982? When I was a teen in the 90's (1979), I preferred the oldies over the modern music. Well in the 90's, 80's music wasn't considered odies..They played 50's and 60's and very few early 70's music. But they played this song...so I always pictured this as an early 70's song, it has that feel.

  • @AngelaRed The Ad Libs version charted in 1965.

The Manhattan Transfer's cover of it charted in 1981

  • I think this is the original version by the Ad Lib, not the Manhattan Transfer more modern version. But I may be wrong...

  • @zzzut Yes, this is the original version by the Ad Libs.

    Great vid otherwise :)
