I love Tommy's playing, but I think people ought to know that this song is practically a note for note copy of the Chet Atkins version from the early 60's (well the first part is) Tommy owes a lot to Chet, and he would be the first to acknowledge that. Keep on rockin', Tommy
Craziness. Please post more of these videos. I'm a big fan of Emmanuel's solo work, but this group setting is incredible. Very impressed with Jake's uke.
I saw them play this at the Sydney show. Joscho is on fire, his right hand is just as accurate and quick as his left on those lightspeed strums. Martin Taylor's tone is amazing as always, and although Jake Shimabukuro didn't get much of a chance in the jams he played a solo rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow which nearly upstaged the others. Great show!
I saw them in Perth. The show was crazy, I had no idea what I was going to see and it was incredible. I got Jake and Tommy's signatures. Also, I had no idea how famous these guys were until recently.
yeah i didn't bring my camera.. this was taken with my mobile phone... yeah it's gonna be awesome.. Jake is amazing with the ukulele... well worth the 60 dollars

Yeah Tommy is always talking about Chet and Mr. Guitar when he is on stage. I think Tommy took this to a much further level than Chet, though

I saw this show, MIND BLOWING. It was a million times better as it sounds on this. I was Front row, too.
