gaga isn't a copycat, she was influenced by ace of base, the lyrics aren't the same, the beat is the most similar but she didn't sample any part of the song, if you want to hate on anyone it should be kanye, he samples all the time

I do see the similarities in bad romance and don't turn around, but gaga did state she was inspired by ace of base, so it's not like she's trying to pretend like she came up with it all by herself.

Even in metal and other music. Look at a song called The March of the Varangian Guard frp, Turisas. It's essentially the Star Wars Imperial March with a bit of Monkey Island.
Having the same beat is fine, so long as you mix it up a bit into your own flavour.

Don't know if Gaga channeled Don't Turn Around, but don't forget this Ace of Base version was one of many covers of the song written by the very prolific Diane Warren (I think Tina Turner did the 1st). I prefer Aswad's version...
