in the state of illinois, the father has zero parental rights, unless of course you don't mind 'buying' your children back. you see, the mother is expected to nurture the children and teach them right from wrong. the father, on the other hand, is expected to be the bread winner, therefore making him unsuitable as a parent. no time to spend with the children. in my case, the ex filed false charges against me for abuse. she went to jail and lost the kids as a result. cost to get them back. $12,000

@AngryActivist45 totally, that's been what has happened to us, the social worker they hired claimed to be able to do this job, only for me to find out later that it is illegal for sociail workers to do this, they are not psychologists - Dr. Michael Anthony has a rap sheet though - rinking and driving, threats and abusing female clients and whatnot....Had I only known - now I am still trying to be heard and get things reevaluated...

This has been happening to me and my son for five years. I've been trying to figure out how to stop this madness. It doesn't seem like the law really cares! This is a real problem...I see the damage within my son. He's almost too afraid to show his real emotions around me when his father is around. I have so much to say about this..I will create a vlog. PAS is real, and I was a victim of it as a child and my wife uses it now with my son. What was previously a good relationship with my son is now destroyed. You cannot imagine the pain and agony a parent endures over this.

PAS deniers can say what they want but until you have gone though it you can't understand.

Please note that alieantion cases can be successful, there have been many alienated mothers and fathers that have been successful in court protecting their children against this form of emotional abuse. Please also see actual letters from adult children of alienation to see how heartbreaking their pain and stories are. This is not about parents, it's about children and their well being.

It's is usually the mothers who practice this type of abuse. Saying things like the father is dangerous, abusive, or addicted is both wrong and hurtful to a child. It is NOT truthful or empowering. A young person will have questions about a missing parent and seek the answers from the available parent. @jaccbbh It is usually the mothers who are accused, the defence was designed by a man who was discredited then committed suicide and was known as a man who agreed that sex between a parent and a child was something mutually agreed upon and beneficial - he worked very hard to discredit the information that systems use to indentify and prevent abuse in all its forms, but especially sexually.

I am separated from my wife and I have custody of the children.My wife is a heroin addict and escort which is a nice word for prostitute- Even through supervised visits she finds a way to act out and yell and scream and traumatize the children - When can I say enough is enough as her whole family is the same as her so our children will only suffer through drug and alcohol abuse through her side of the family !!! Your case has nothing to do with this syndrome. The syndrome is when parents are fairly good parents and post divorce, one parent pits the other. The child witnesses and their brains cannot be split about love of parent, and they align with one parent and reject the other. But sexual and domestic/child abuse are NOT forms of parental alienation. It is the right of a parent to PROTECT their child from real harms.

Returning home from Iraq to my surprise I find that my wife had slept with over 20 men and made videos of these encounters. She hid or depleted over $500,000.00 I earned during my sacrifice to better my family. The courts then award her the home and everything in it forcing me to the street. @AngryActivist45 You are right, the system is very messed up and people are not recoginizing true PA and false accusations of PA, that is why education and awareness are so important. However, it's important to note that telling children the 'truth' is a form of PA. Children need to be shielded from any parental conflict & to know and/or feel that both their mother and father love them and support them, & that it's OK to love both. 'Truths'' can be discovered by them when older and independent.

Parental alienation is basically a "created problem", so uncreate it. Parental alienation occurs when the corrupt family courts " judicially kidnap" a child from one parent to give it to the other parent who did abandon and wreck the marriage/ relationship. Stop the kidnaping , pass a federal law, UPREPA, Uniform Parental Rights Enforcement and Protection Act. Outlaw "judicial kidnaping" make joint physical/legal custody the law of the land and you will put a stop to it.

My partner and I are suffering the loss of our childrens lives due to Parental Alienation Syndrome. Our ex-spouses never moved forward past their contempt. Three years have been stolen away of time with our kids. After 13 years of alienation my 17 year old daughter mustered enough courage to sneak away and call me...The next day her mother had her cell phone disabled.

All those b-day and Christmas cards I mailed intercepted by their mother...no phone contact...Jeez, even prisoners are allowed phone and mail privileges...I can tell you it has not only destroyed my life...but major emotional distress for my two daughters.

I have been the victim of parental alienation for the past 3 years. After raising my son mostly on my own for 10 years his father abducted him. I haven't seen my son now for almost 2 years. My son is almost 141/2 now and hopefully we will start therapy very soon. My son is resistant due to the brainwashing but is starting to get older and finally see the truth.
