  • Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio and films. This guy is actually promoting AA.

  • @jbwitchdance This g*y is free to talk about aa whatever he wants, as long as he wants. Like any MEMBER of aa.

BTW, not to talk at all in public, as some more reasonable members demand, is not an answer.

BTW II - 9,000 out of 10,000 pro-aa comments on yt did just that, promoting aa w/ NO INSIGHT into the so-called traditions. Even the Noth-Corean leadership is more up-to-date in PR !

  • Yeah .. you look & sound like a sad case .. a totally up-yourself loser, pal .. carrying heaps of personal defects & baggage. I'm willing to bet that you're in need of some serious professional help .. of course, with your defects the way they are, you don't yet realise this ... so rave on ... until your time comes ...

  • hahahaahhaa.

  • if your not your a alcoholic then don't go to AA fucking r-tards. I dislike ppl like zipster, lets go to a meeting to see what it's about what the hell you think its about.

  • awesome videos, Zipster!

  • Have you turned your life over to Nixon as your Personal Lord and Milhous?

  • It sounds like you are very interested in yourself. Too bad no one else is.

  • @altgeldrarities So what is it the 131,000+ people who watched this video were interested in?

  • @Zipster08 We love to watch a FAIL in progress. Just like watching NASCAR for a car wreck. Most people don't a s**t about the drivers, but the FAIL is entertainment.

  • @Zipster08 I'm just trying to find a video that IS pro-AA. I'm starting to suspect that they're zombies who don't have mental faculties required to post a youtube video.

  • @SIM2402 and i suspect that hang over is killing you, the ppl that is pro AA use to have a life, but if you insist in so, go to a AA group, aply the program to your self , get results , then you post a youtube video.

  • @Zipster08 thought it would be funny, it wasnt

  • @Zipster08

my respect for u my friend, love u mate, nice vid by the way :)

    OLD GENERATION STILL RULES !!!!!!!!!!!

you have my thumb up !!

  • @Zipster08 Excellent rejoinder!!! Many of these trolls are too damned ignoranty to even see their own noses in front of their faces.

  • This is so true! Also they are all a bunch of bible thumpers.

  • AA is for sissy quitters that let booze get outta hand but ohhh the babes

I used to go to the meetings to get chicks

Id sit next to the hottest one and whisper as I ran my hand up her thigh "Wanna go for a couple drinks later?"

Then Id let them get nice and tanked on my nickel cause we all know the chicks in AA are there cause they cant keep their legs closed when they get piss drunk

Hell most women turn whore when drunk but the babes in AA are crazy wild on the demon liquor

    CHEERS !!

  • This guy speaks the truth you walk into AA and a bunch of maggots jump on you and suck your blood before you no it

Yes I have a mental illness but I tell you the people that tried to help me where a whole lot sicker than me

Happy days people one day at a time

  • AAA is pretty good, just pay your dues, or risk losing your coverage

  • hi there Zipsters I stop drinking about 8 years ago, I need a Ice Tea now .

  • Keep comin' back.

  • Yea AAA is way too expensive. All I need is AA. If I get a flat I just call my sponsor, "ohhh man I got a flat, I think I'm just gonna drink". "no don't do that" he says, "I'll come get ya". Works like a charm.

  • Let go and let God!

  • Stinkin thinkin my friend!

  • Every thing I hear is great. All true. I've had moments of grace, anger or fear that somehow got me off the sauce for extended periods of time. Great! I'm drinkin' now and I know it's death. Doesn't seem to matter. With all your opinions I doubt you can explain a willingness to drink yourself to death simultaneous with a wish that you wouldn't. In a way that actually makes a difference. You all have your stories. I have mine. You can pretend you did it. Like I said. Grace, anger or fear

  • @TheSlydawg11 Blahblahblah

The only way was to go to my cancered daddy and say "its okay". God ain't a loving-shit-criminals god. Its a GOOD god. Kick you in yor ass. (Gave Zip a hug, tho)

  • Who cares if AA worked for you or not the point is it works for and helps alot of people and to make a joke of it is disgraceful it can aid people in not getting in a car drunk and killing you or your loved ones so be thankful there are less people like yourselves on the road and odds are it didnt work because you didnt concede to yourself you were beat and if you did you didnt have a good sponsor try again and ill pray for you to return like it or not

  • holy shit old man you took a 30 second story and stretched it into 4 and a half antagonizing minutes ... go to Talkers Anonymous you old fool ... you can make a person wanna drink ,shit ...

  • @oxytrebor Thanks for watching!

  • Thats because AA is a cult you damned fool.

  • aa es para personas q quieren dejar de tomar

  • Zipster!! I want to hug you! AA is a joke (in my humble opinion). I've been trying to grasp the concept of sobriety for over 20 years, but, every time I go to an AA meeting I want to drink! I can go for weeks not thinking about it, then in an AA meeting, all of the sudden I need a flippin martini! I subscribe to you, my friend :)

  • @cherrybomb20 I agree - AA is a joke. Worse, it's a faith-healing cult that teaches learned helplessness and dependence om the cult. I tried it for a long, depressing year, then switched to SMARTRecovery, which works for me. No "Higher Power", no sponsors, no magical thinking. It's science-based, not religion-based. AA people can call it spirituality if they want to, but that's been ruled to be untrue in every state court ruling that I know of.

  • @ndrthrdr1 we all depend on something you moron . your 'points' are weak ... are you telling me you don't 'relay' on anything? how about your job , or your car or that fat family of yours... people like you should be banned from being able to post comment , you're a waste of cyber ink ...

  • @cherrybomb20 AA meetings make me want to drink more than I did before, too! Cheers!!!

  • @MIKE1238673 *clink*!

  • Zipster you have earned a subscribe...im pissed out of my head but im sober enough to see an underrated comical genius when i see one ;)

  • @Padgeify Thanks so much!

  • then there is always the gun to the head

    since life is so horrible

and for those with kids its more important, kids learn your wimpy ways

but YOU in YOUR pain cant see that. i bet your kid sees it

  • and belive me i was a victim and a wimp , so dont give me this shit about me not being an addict, if there is any truth in that statement that im not an addict

then its because i said fuck this easy way of living . take the shit that comes your way, thats how people learn. not by crying in a group and hiding from the ,problem' noone learns like that. so cheers, snort and puff , pop until you poop

then wipe you own ass, noone is gonna do it for you.

  • what do you think men are thinking in times of war?

oh its so hard i want to go home. fuck that shit!

kick your self in the butt and think of something else than YOU in YOUR pain.

you people remind me of a fat kid in a candy store. mama said NO, so get over it and learn to live with it, a victim is always a victim, until he decides not to be one

  • here is one example of a good way to stop drinking

if its that important to you people to stop it and you have done all there is to try i advice you to go to an isolated place with no drugs or drinks, could be an island.

the worst thing that will happen is you will feel bad for a few days, noone has died from stopping this lovely thing you call shit. so if you really are honest to your self and ask your self why cant i stop? then you should realize its because you look at your self as patients

  • in recovery???? CHECK OUT THEFIX.COM

  • @EnjoiEngMySelf "thefix" sucks*, but its the number one 12step**-fanzine.

    *a must-read, anyway

**I dont hate Narcotics A, I hate the bunch of idiots: "ea".

  • @andreasheinz OR I dont hate EA AND NA is a bunch of idiots. 80% of speakers time and 90% of sponsors energy.

  • Do me a favour:

Dont use the words "work" or "works" in any context, plz.

It get me on my nerves, really.

  • AA was a failure for me. I disagree with their logic of telling people they are "powerless" over alcohol. Not to mention labeling them "alcoholics" forever whether they drink or not. I quit drinking on my own by devoting alot more time to hobbies and interests and telling myself I am not powerless. Might not work for everyone but worked for me. I know what he is saying about being a newb at a AA meeting .First one I attending they were all eyeing me like vultures I felt VERY uncomfortable.

  • i don't understand what you say! and it is not that i am drunk! it was a very bad idea to make this video with all that noise, bro...!!!

  • fulltiltbraindead

  • i fucked bill w

  • Not all AA groups are like the one described here. If people are tired of the mess they have made of their life because of drugs or alcohol, AA is a good place to start.

  • Been in and out of AA for five years all my friends are recovering alcoholics.I can't stand AA for the simple fact that there are blood sucking arsholes in there that fuck your life up more than you have done on your own.each to there own one day at a time.

  • There's some rubbish in this post about A.A. A.A. is a great organisation and if you don't like it, that's fine. I'm two years sober, life's pretty good today, and it was A.A. that showed me how to sort out the mess that was my life.

  • @JapGeordie

I agree. Over a year ago, I would have been the same sort of negative comments about AA when I was still out drinking (after an unsuccessful bout in the program). I was in an extended treatment program and called AA a cult, a group of mindless idiots, religious zaelots, etc. Today, I'm sober and while AA isn't perfect - I can now see that over a year ago it wasn't the problem. I was. Grateful for AA today! Cheers!

  • The philosophy of A.A. . Let's see; You can drive drunk and blame your behavior on a disease. You can drink to the point of making a complete ass of yourself and blame the disease. You can ruin the lives of others and simply say, "I have a disease, it's not my fault. So in otherwords all morally repugnant behavior is blamed on some mysterious disease? Gee, what great way to get out of moral responsility for anything. What a crock of shit.

  • @doggsector I got some friendly feedback from GLBTs in aa. I got some cool feedback from GLBTs outside aa."Straight" AAs is horror - never been drunk, never been in that kind of sitiuation. AAs DONT UNDERSTAND !

  • @doggsector you stepnazi stop "drive drunk" comments on this vid plz

  • AA is a christian organization whether they admit it or not. I went there... a lot. All talk inevitably turns to the Christian God. It never fails, it always does. I felt like I was being brainwashed there. Also, my cousin got a drunk driving ticket a few years ago and the court forced him to go and sit through this Christian program and say the Lord's Prayer to get his license back. That's wrong.

  • @Britton001 ARe you kidding? Please don't equate a real religion with A.A. A.A. is not Christian. It is a compilation of pop pscyh, Christianity, pantheism and a bunch of pseudo bullshit. No A.A. is not Christian. Christianity is a respectable true religion. A.A. is a cult.

  • Its a real shame... driving drunk is already as careless and dangerous as is, this poor man is also attempting to film.....

  • AA and NA saved My life... If you hate us ,then leave us alone!!!

  • @fiesilke I OWN NA

  • how does aa kill anyone? people kill themselves, aa tries to help them. that's like saying that doctors kill thousands of people in the ER each year. they are trying to save the people, but sometimes they simply can't. Ive never seen anyone being abused in an AA meeting.

  • zipster your a legend

  • What a crapshoot for you. Never had such an experience in Al Anon. Maybe Elmer was, I dunno, hyper-concerned. Happens to the best of us.

  • Comment removed

  • @Commonsense11111 Some people really take comments out of context, you know? *facepalm*

  • @GenghisKhan44 overly zealous people in AA s crapshoot? yeah right! is that just your disease talking?

  • i no longer have the need to be right and win arguments. who cares! stop trying to use chicanery to prove your points, it doesn't even matter

  • @alex39k i think that was an argument!

  • why do so many people hate on AA? if it doesn't work for you, than don't go. that's it. c-ya, no one has ever forced me to stay in the program. I choose to go because it's the only thing that has helped me. It may not be the only thing that can help me, but why try something else when AA works? Maybe it doesn't work for everyone, but it did for me. It has brought me closer than ever to my relationship with god and loved ones. It has also allowed me to look at the extreme selfishness inside of me

  • @alex39k honestly, because aa kills thousands of people each year, and abuses millions

    check out the orange papers

  • Winning!

  • @zooromeo1971 No, we make it very clear that we cannot better ourselves at someone else's expense. What you're implying is I can screw over other people and not take responsibility. Not the way it works. The golden rule is very much in effect in those rooms.

  • Check out watch?v=n-m5wwKBfbI&

    ROFLMAO!!!

  • @vet725 You could taste what in the coffee?

  • @vet725 why do you use jizz for creamer in your coffee

  • Im sober and thats all the matters today ! THANKS BE TO GOD AND AA !!

  • In Ireland they say the 'Lord's Prayer' at the end of meetings, that is religious..........nothing spiritual about that; AA is not allied with any sect, oranisation or institution...........................Thats the reason I stopped going to AA. Stil sober 21 years later.

  • If you don't like AA don't go! everyone stop making excusses why you don't like AA. The last time I looked nobody was being dragged in. All tha matters is that Im sober today and if you want what we have ( SOBRIETY) you will do what we do !

  • @mike7560 Mate! Don't u know people are ordered or recommended to go by the courts & authorities & there is very little alternative support in some places! Ur badly informed & u obviously buy into their bullshit! So ! I bet u still refer to urself as an addict or alcoholic even a long period of sobriety!

AA sucks big time. If u want to quit and stay clean/sober & deal with your issues certainly don't go to AA/NA. They have a very very bad record compared to non-religious drug/Alcohol treatments!

  • @mrdubcrazy No dude I am informed. they stopped making people go to AA In the United States.. The anti religious people put a stop to that ! Some drunk was before a Judge and was ordered to go to AA but His laywer said that was Unconstitutional. I would like to see where that drunk is today ??? p.s. why is it people always shit on something that didn't work for them, its probably because they weren't ready at the time. I've tried many things before I started to live a sober life.

  • @mike7560 Do u still consider yourself to be an addict/alcoholic? It ain't about being ready because it's a long process, people get clean/sober at different speeds. You can get all the same group therapy, support group counseling from non-religious Drug & alcohol recovery agencies. Throwing God into the mix just gives people an excuse not to confront their issues in a down to realistic manner. draw a line under it & move on. Replace alcohol & drugs with hobbies sport etc.. not meetings!

  • Regardless, AA, from my understanding, has a significantly higher rate of success than any other group in actually facilitating long term sobriety for those who 'work the program' in other words, 'The Twelve steps'. I've been told by those involved that more than half of the members ultimately backslide despite AA's relatively high rate of success in effecting sobriety. That doesn't say much about the effectiveness of any other program for 'curing' folks.

    Granted, It's not for everyone.

  • Comment removed

  • I've read some of these comments here and everyone has mixed feelings about AA. I'm 26 and in AA. WHY? Because there was no other way! I tried to quit on my own! It didn't work, AA isn't about going there to "fuck" aa women. If thats how you think then stay away from aa, we're honest people who are trying to get our lives back on track. I've been clean for 6 months now, not once I have wanted to drink, if you want recovery really bad you'll get it you have to try! So keep the insults down.

  • @TheOjibway84 People feel strongly about this subject because it affects everyone in society to some degree or another. Personally i think AA/NA is an antiquated out of date un-productive somewhat creepy organisation. The 12 steps are reminiscent of puritanical self chastisment in the 16th century!

  • @mrdubcrazy creepy? WIth all due respect, this program helped me become someone different, I lived in fear and pity, I was picked on in school, I couldn't speak to no one, I couldn't present a project in front of a class without passing out and being laughed at for it. NOW, I'm more eager, I can speak to people and not bottle my feelings up inside and I can speak my mind now! I could never before and I made GREAT friends who understand what I went through. I'm not saying everyone has to agree

  • 10 years clean of meth down the drain last night. This sucks!!

  • There are two sides to every chip, and AA is not necessarily a good or effective way to get sober. When I quit, I started with AA, having been a AA kid for years. But, I soon found that it did more harm than good by CONSTANTLY reminding be of alcohol! Every time I reached in my pocket and felt that chip, I was reminded of drinking and alcohol. I finally beat alcohol by forsaking AA. And, today's idiot judges, who think sentencing people to AA will help, are JUST PLAIN WRONG! AA is not a solution

  • @TheMrBlinx Yeah, right on dude, it's about keeping the little people down & making them think that they can't get clean without a higher power, i.e: Keep them slaves!

  • that good when you hit bottom you know were to go

  • It's not religious....It's SUPERSTITOUS!

  • @TheSlydawg11 I highly doubt that you're relapsing. you're just getting drunk after going to a few meetings. IMO relapse can't happen unless you have a little recovery first. Also you mentioned earlier that the Big Book doesn't say you have to work the 12 steps to get sober. The 12 steps is where recovery happens. Lot's of people are dry. For whats it's worth, I hope you're not alcoholic and can drink like a gentlemen. If you do I'll tip my cap.

  • wow...

  • Jesus, you are honest to god one of the most retarted, close minded, sorry excuse for a Canadian I've seen in a LONG TIME. The story you told is total bullshit ... They do not "assign" a sponsor to you ... You have to approach someone and ASK for them to sponsor you. So you went to a meeting asked for this mans help and when he called you to make sure you were ok .... You of course acted like the dumbass close minded prick i explained that you were earlier in this msg... GET LIVER DISEASE

  • @deathb4goof See that's the typical CULT AA stance if someone criticizes you you fuck them over & call them a loser & wish them to die!! That's why people should steer well fucking clear of AA/NA!

  • I love it how people who have never even tried AA or only been to one or two meetings will judge it based on that. If you want AA to work, then you should probably WORK THE STEPS. For those who will bash God and people who believe, you are quick to tell us how wrong we are and this and that but I know that I dont bash you for your beliefs and call you weak. If you dont believe in God, fine but dont bash me. You talk of intolerance while being intolerant. none of your business what others believe

  • @amandac3907 AA bashes it's members psychologically all the time! Keeps them from drawing a line under their addcition & moving on!

  • Comment removed

  • Hey dude you are really fun to listen to. I hope you will post more videos! I am an alcoholic who attends AA meetings and I actually got sober there. Maybe you are not a real alcoholic.

    Party on dude!

  • once i went to aa for the mission to get a sponsor and secretly make him fail while he thinks he is helping me, its like a hobby,

  • @gullitulli Evil but LOL. They lord it over u thinking they are over & above u because they r ur sponsor & the boss of u! Fuck em!

  • AA people and NA people are WIMPS! the first and most important thing a drug user

can learn is SELF CONTROL. i am capable of it so what is your problem other than you are a self loving and selfish wimp?

  • @gullitulli if you are capable of self control, then by definition you are not an addict.

  • AA people and NA people are WIMPS! the first and most important thing a drug user

can learn is SELF CONTROL. i am capable of it so what is your problem other than you are a self loving and selfish wimps?

  • @gullitulli Why did you even go? Maybe you or someone close to you thinks you have issues? If you have self-control you don't need to be there. I wish I had self-control, but unfortunately everybody doesn't and all people are not the same. Good luck my friend.

  • AA people ans NA people are WIMPS!

  • i beengoing to AA for a while now at 1st it was a lil weird since all this people where talking about step 1 and step what ever ever since my 1st day i havent said anything about me not even my name

  • one day at a time

  • ps... this guy isnt alcholoic...... this zipster is a joke

  • "It is NOT a RELIGIOUS program, rather a SPIRITUAL" -- whatever -- like there is a difference as far as disease treatment goes. Try to put leaches on me and I'll punch you; Spiritualism/Religion whatever you want to call it has no place in disease treatment. Replacing one addiction with another is not a solution!!!

  • andreasheinz you nailed it. The comment has nothing to do with you.

  • AA is just a new affiliation for people who are absolutely out of options and they've finally admitted it. In that affiliation they imperfectly find connections that lead to a life of more self esteem. Nobody has self esteem unless they admit that there is something greater than themselves that has control of everything. When you're out of options it's easier to admit all of this. Looks like Zippity still thinks he has options. It's human to not connect the dots.

  • @JFM135 what the fuck does that has to do w/ me?

  • Sounds like the Zipster doesn't have the desire to stop drinking.

    Thus, he doesn't get it.

Although it did bug him enough to make a 'youtube' video about it.

  • AA works for me. Not just how to stay sober, but how to live a good life. Take it or leave it !

  • my name is Ronnie iam gay and like to wear panties I am ashamed of myself for my sexual desires

  • U talk 2 FAST ....

  • @TheSlydawg11 Look, I lost two very good friends to alcohol and drugs.

One was 34 and the other 45. I have also met several people who quite the booze and drugs on their own.

But, that was after they had ruined their health.

If you think you can do it on your own, I wish you the best.

No need to fire me, I was never your sponsor.

Just a person wondering what you were trying to prove here.

Too smart for AA? Hope you are smarter than whatever is your choice of poison.

  • @gjsterp really the human race is moving past AA and HP healing your trying to turn shit into solid gold , AA is right up there with relgion , lies and fantasy land , you look like a fool and you sound like one to

  • If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, sounds like a duck...it might be a duck.

  • @Boomer1949 Some aa looks like aa, walks like aa, sounds like aa.

Some are more anonymous, still might be aa.No good personal these days, we should go into tech.

We need body scanners and TV for the toilets.

  • Passport-identification at aa-meetings aint so anonymous.

We need body-scanners. Some prospects are smugeling booze in the pockets.

    TV in the toilets.

  • @TheSlydawg11 51 days of sobriety? WOW !?

You may be sober, but you haven't been sober long enough to begin to think straight.

    There's the rub.

Of course, if you find these videos help keep you sober, you might start your own "cult" right here on YT.

Just ask people who believe in your method to "Sub" you.

Who knows it might catch on.

  • @gjsterp how do you know? who are you to tell someone else that their thinking is not straight enough? typical aa abusive remarks

  • @Commonsense11111 Since it has been weeks or even months since I commented on this ignorant video, I am not sure what you are referring to.

The man is talking out of his ASS.

Are there idiots in AA? Yes.

It's probably good that this ass has not added to their numbers.

  • @gjsterp got it. becasue he is not one of you, he is an ass. and they say that aa is a cult!

  • @TheSlydawg11 I won't pray for you, because I don't believe in God. I'm an atheist. But I will say this, if you think drinking and getting drunk is cool, you're an idiot.

You need someone to record you drunk and play it back if you ever get sober day.

  • In "Best of Grapevine" (1985) is a cartoon, dated Dec 1981

  • you're freaking awesome, an old guy whos funny and actually knows how to use the internet well.

    Kudos

  • @TheSlydawg11Thank God ! You were a pain in the ass any way, always complaining !

  • @TheSlydawg11 Have one for me too, while you are at it pick up some crack !

  • hey dude, i've been there i've done that

  • gittin honest with urself sux dont it just keep coming back i am.

  • The aa next door, would you buy its used car?

The aa next door, do you put your life and health into its hands?

    Really?

  • What a farce. A pathetic waste of video.

  • ok like seriously ppl be mature act yur age not yur IQ. dont be hating on someones yutube video. yu dont like it then dont watch it like seriously. cant yu all just be mature adults instead of acting like ghetto ass hood rats. like seriously.....

  • It`s all in the genetics, or lack thereof...

  • When you go to AA meetings 95% of people are like this whacko hence why I'd rather die of alcoholism than be part of this group of whack jobs

  • @GGGGeorger Then have a drink on me !!

  • @mike7560 Am right now! GREAT not to be a brain washed cult member!
