you should try removing the excess first i always have to do this with new mascaras .. if they still stick together try an eyelash comb (great investment) and i agree this takes way to much time i think ill stick with my maybelline colossal no clumping!!!

you should've applied a layer on top, too since your lashes are pretty light-coloured
