  • :) i think box is kind of prison for figure. Every time I open the box and I'm trying to not violate the figure not box.

  • OK, but what if the toy was made 10-15 years ago, they're not sold anymore and they're worth over $1,000 if kept in Mint Condition?

  • @LOLGmod you planning on selling it? No, then take it out and enjoy it the way it was made to be enjoyed. If yes, well then i guess keep it in the box and enjoy the money

  • @JustaSilentWarrior man you're 6 months late. Anyways, I actually found this toy up in my attic but i don't plan on selling :)

  • @LOLGmod I just found these guys. I sometimes forget to look at how old a post is before replying since I'm just seeing it for the first time.

  • @JustaSilentWarrior yeah, we all make that mistake

  • I need that

  • Frame the signiture

  • dude i take good care of my boxes(even if i don't use them)

  • i open my toys up but i keep the boxes to put them back in if i want to put them in storage so the toy it self wont be dusty or lose paint by the sun rays i dont care if the box get damaged as long as my toy keeps clean :) I have a collage of toy box art on on my rooms wall looks great

  • I LOVE YOU! I so totally agree, my auntie opened my eyes 2 years back (im 20 so nothing wierd) I got the sauron polystone statue of sideshow weta and the box it came in was humungous but i thought since it was limmited eddition its important to keep the original box, and if the box is important you have to protect it also so I kept it in the shipping box put around it (this was now a 1m by 1m by 1m cube sitting in my room). this shit doesnt add value, as long as the figure is in good condition.

  • can i have the kozik box? ill give you money for it

  • i want the kozik box

  • eh i only keep them for resale value

  • well said mang

  • To be honest i 100% agree with you. What is the point of spending money on something if your just going to look at it though plastic and cardboard.

  • I think that if you have nothing in your apartment, its probably ok to have some boxes. But if your place is very cluttered, then its certainly time to rethink how necessary all those boxes are. I'm going through a cleaning phase myself. It's not worth being embarrased to have people over just because you have stacks of "collectables".

  • true that brother...i just started opening my action figures......WHOO! REJOICE finally i get to touch them...because it's so tempting looking at them and not knowing how good it feels to like pose them....OMG!

  • Let the open box revolution begin :)

  • Completely agree with your vid.

  • Boxes are stupid George, 100% correct. I too keep them for artwork, I think it's a good idea. The same goes for blister packs for action figures. They're supposed to be played with! Keep up the good work.

  • lol - we just talked about this over at VR. I hate keeping boxes and even specifically talked about throwing out my Teeter boxes - even the signed ones. As one person succinctly wrote about my take on the matter "Jenny: 'F*** you and your boxes.'"

  • Ehh... to each their own I guess.. The one thing that killed me about Urban Vinyl was the thought they put into every part of the product. The boxes where as cool as the figures but I don't see that anymore. Very rarely do I see a box thats cool. Maybe you had a talk with them already..lol.

  • I would LOVE THE KOZIK Box!!!!

  • email me through the toy break site or on the toy break forum and we'll figure out how to get it to you.
