@panosab I heard that both V and VDR say that a particular model is for export. J or JF-indicated watches, on the other hand, are for Japanese market. So I guess V or VDR makes no difference

In my classic GShock batteries run out so I've gotta replace em with a few local supplies since we can unscrew the backcovers. I was just wondering if does this watch have the same features like the screws so I can change the batteries if they ran out.If so, does unscrewing mudman defeats the purpose of mud resistance?Is this solar powered and doesnt need batt replacement?My place is so remote, so Casio service centers are too far.I wanna ask your expertise and suggestions please.

This is a.k.a. the "Stormtrooper" which is funny because when I first saw pics of this watch it instantly reminded me of the 'Millennium Falcon'. It also looks like a chocolate chip cookie.

You forgot to mention the auto light feature while the auto light switch is enabled, illumination turns on.moving the watch to a position that is parallel to the ground and then tilting it towards you at more than 40 degrees..you can also set the illumination duration between 3 or 5 secs

I got the Blue version (G-9000-MX-2) and mine is also proving to be quite accurate--only gaining abt 1 sec/week compared to radio-controlled watches.

I find it very comfortable because of lightweight and I really like that dual-prong clasp. The clasp makes easier and faster to put the watch on.

I have been reading reviews for Mudman watches in general and their have been alot of complaints about the rubber bumps on the back and how they are uncomfortable, but couldn't you just take off the rubber back piece?

Hey nice review u got there....Btw i might need ur help here...i had a gshock C3(g8100).....and after watching ur review, i bought a mudman military inspired series....i set both watch exactly same time and even the seconds.....for the first 2 days its beeps together every one hour.....after days passes, it dosent beep together again..ive notice that my mudman is going fast....now my mudman beeps before my C3...and the gap between the beep is getting longer....is there anything wrong??

i have this exact watch.

i can go diving or throw it on the ground or whatever itll be working. best watch ive ever owned. far as mud resistant you can bury it in the mud and leave it there itl be fine. honestly i dont know how to brake it , haven't tried a train yet and i don't really want to.

for the stop watch 1 hold the adjust button (top lefy), and a 5 second count down timer will appear in the upper part of the display... this will give a 5 second delay after pressing the start button on the ST

It's a linear representation of the second hand. It has 10 little lines that count up, and then count down 10 seconds at a time.

No - only on the Dual Illuminator models. I think that any Mudman which has Tough Solar does not have Dual Illumination.

The Mudman is one heck of a watch! I have the solar/ atomic GW-9010. What a beast! However the dual illuminator of the regular Mudman is just awesome!
