  • Bad vid! Bad shot! Bad overview! Bad bad bad

  • I'd buy the 357 and shoot .38's out of it for practice and use .38 +P for carry. The heck with the recoil of a 357 :o)

  • cant you fire .38 out of a .357?

  • @vogagis yes

  • @texasbud100 thanks for the response texas

  • I carry the LCR .38 special myself. I don't think I can control the .357 in the LCR very well. I am sure there are others that are able. On my pocket holster as you have in the video, I attached a piece of leather to assist in breaking up the print.

  • Very nice gun, got LCR in .38spcl. Just don't be afraid of it and your aim will be bullseye

  • if you already have a LCR .38+P is it worth trading it in for the LCR.357? At the time the LCR .357 was not available when I got LCR. 38+P.

  • @microminiskirt hi, if you carry the 38 for CCW its going to be a big change in weight. i dont think it matters much in defence. but if you want one bad enough you probably are not going to be happy until you have one, lol. at this point you should only be out $100 to trade up

  • @NaplesSwampRat I will just keep the LCR .38 +P revolver because the recoil in this caliber is already alot so the .357 will be too much in comparison.

  • @NaplesSwampRat Forgot to mention also since there is a 4 ounce difference between the two LCR's empty it will be even more heavy once you put bullets into the guns.

  • Got the LCR +P .38 has enough recoil for me. Wish the .357 was available at time then I would have got that one instead.

  • The weight difference doesn't sound like much, but you can feel it! The .38 is much nicer for carrying, but it won't stand up to constant heavy loads. The recoil also is more noticeable with the .38 version. If I were going to shoot .38 +P loads much, I'd definitely go with the .357 version. If I just wanted to carry it and use it for self defense, I'd take the .38 version.

  • Love these revolvers. Don't need to constantly pull the lever after every shot. Semi Automatic Revolvers FTW!

  • If u get a gun like this, why would you want to shoot it hundreds of times? I wud think of it as an emergency concealed carry, which will probably never get used, but is there just in case. Then shooting a few rounds in an emergency won't kill your hand, even if it is uncomfy.

  • @Thunkful2 Uhhh.....To know your weapon. If you have a gun for carry and you don't get to know it by practicing with it, you're asking for a disaster when you have to use it. I know there are people who carry and don't practice at all. I just hope I'm not anywhere in the area when they decide to cut loose.

  • Thanks for the overview,.. I was hoping someone did a side-by-side comparison video, very timely!

  • great review. but i would like to help you with your grip. i just got the lcr in .357 yesterday. took it ot the range to day for the first time and ran about 300 rounds thru it. The rounds consisted of .38 spcl., .38 spcl. +p, and .357 mags. i noticed i was holding too low as well. when your holding it with a solid grip ( as solid as it can for the grip being so small) you should not be able to see the ruger markings on the back of the grip. try it n let me know.

  • Why the hell after pushing the cylinder released button, you have to force it open with the other hand, so much for speed loading. POS

  • You actually did an nice job shooting through the camera's (our) perspective. I would like to see that in more videos.

    Thaks for the review.

  • What is like to shoot .38 special P+ cartridges through the LCR 357?

  • You flinch prior to shooting every time you shoot. Suggest you practice w 38 spl a lot then shoot 357.

  • @nicopp10 yea im sure i need to rum some more rounds through it. but im not sure how good i will ever be able to shoot using the camera screen

  • it's not rough on your hand til you shoot bout ten rnds through it...i have 357 lcr and only ran 40rnds of 357 out of it...haven't shot .38 out of it yet though yes it will make ur hand a lil sore but dont be a pussy...i alternate between this and my glock 19 for ccw

  • @86turkishman that comment wasnt for me right? because i recommended getting the 357 over the 38. i said it hurts your hand a little but its worth it. the only reason i even mention it is because when shooting the 38 you dont feel a thing

  • @86turkishman by the way, i switch ccw between a ruger LCP or LCR 357 and a glock 26

  • @NaplesSwampRat i wana get a .45 glock but i dont like single stack mags

  • I gotta say it is hard to try to aim a pistol through the camera like that. Very well done. I couldn't do it!

  • @taofledermaus hey thanks man, i was just using a digital camera so the screen is very small. and for some reason it looks fuzzy, its not super crisp

  • tell me you didnt buy from bergquist

  • @mrselfister haha, no i got it from "First Pawn" on Airport rd. they were the cheapest price. then after i bought mine they raised the price, lol.

  • great gun , nice review

  • @krazy45cat thanks man

  • Cool, thanks for the look at them side by side..

So yours came with that card even without the Big Dots installed at factory?

I'll look at my paperwork again

  • @GunWebsites yep, i guess maybe my local gun store might have put it in there, but i dont think so
