Michael finds this an emotional song. He said in his autobiography that when he was recording, at the end of one of the takes he lost it and broke down in sobs. He also went on to say that he didn't cry because of any personal parallel with the songs story, he cried simply because of the emotional content.

oops sorry didnt realise this was a month ago, but I will say anyway. I think Michael learned later on to pull the shyer girls in and hug them anyway. There were a few shy fans that got up in later tours but he helped them out more by holding their hands and hugging them and stuff. I would be like this to be honest, I would be stuck still not knowing what to do just feeling overwhelmed, It's good he changed this cos i would have gone down regretting not hugging him!

@sonyutza1997 you are right but his mother loved him verry much. he was her special son becouse he needed the most care esspecialy becouse of his trauma wich he got when he went at the first time on tour with his brothers. the girls where grabbing to him but didn't know about their nails scratching him
