  • Thats a good one...without ajinomotto ..!! Thanks..!!

  • very good......

  • Thanks so much for sharing this dish; I made it tonight and it's one of the most delicious things I've ever cooked. The fragrance of the pepper is amazing! Unfortunately where I live I can only get coriander leaves when I grow it myself, and curry leave are completely unavailable, so I had to imagine that part of it. Next trip to a place with an Indian community, I'm buying half a kilo of curry leaves for the freezer!

  • Loved this recipe! I tried it by the book...bit i did add 1 tbsp of dry roasted grated coconut to the tomato gravy....loved the result! Its damn tasty! Thanks!

  • i made this dish and it tasted so good. awesome. all your recipies are jus awesome. you have a beautiful art in your hands.. great cooking

  • you really want to inspire others to cook, THEN PLEASE SPECIFY QUANTITY... instead of yakking away to glory... the show must be about the recipe not you talking!

  • @desidj75 Dude. chill out. Go to his webpage. There all the videos are accompanied by recipes and measurements. I am not sure why Vachef simply doesn't add the recipes and measurements in the description section of his youtube videos but he chooses not to and that's that.

  • Hey Vahchef, there's not much "vah" to you coz YOU DON'T HAVE STRUCTURE NOR QUANTITY TO YOUR RECIPES... can i add 5 tablespoons of cumin powder??? i guess not!! so where's the quantity... i can't beleive they never taught you quantity in your stint at the Park Sheraton...

  • Dear Chef, Thanks u so much for all your receipe's... I keep trying ur dishes on a daily basis as I did not know how to cook... trust me I feel myself I am inproving day by day!! All credit goes to U :)

  • Hey .... could you please teach or show us how to make Mughlai Paratha? this is very femous in Kolkata. I am very much craving for that, if possible please show the recipe for Mughlai Paratha.

  • dear sanjay this is really a superb dish,I ate pepper chicken lots of times in various restaurants but only twice i liked it one in a chettinadu restaurant and second after cooking this recipe its really superb and my husband liked it a lot

thank you for such a nice dish

  • dear sanjay its awesome everybody liked it when i prepared for a party in my dads office. you are great. i am 11 years old i cooked by myself

  • I want to make this but dont know where I would get curry leaves in Sacramento. It looks amazing!

  • @monicatovar Go to any Indian Store , you will get CURRY LEAVES, IF YOU HAVE PATEL STORE AROUND IN THE AREA, YOU WILL GET IT. ITS AN AWESOME PREPRATION. THANKS CHEF.

  • Dude.. You are the best. This vid. is my fav. I cooked it and perhaps its the best curry I have made this year. Thanks buddy .. cheers.

  • The video & explation are good.. but i dont take this dish to be pepper chicken, u ver using pepper so little and only at last. that doesnt bring out the need. Pepper chicken is to be spicy in a different way not just adding other masala items.

  • "Indian cooking is all about: adding the right ingredients at the right time and cooking at the right consistency."

    The end.

    Game over, dude...

    No, seriously... that's it

  • Chef Sanjay, Thank you very much for sharing your cooking talent with others. Very few people in this world would share their knowledge and try to pass it on to others. I am not surprised that you have so many people watching you on you tube. God Bless you and your family for this generosity . You have given back to society and I hope others will do the same. God Bless!

  • @vathumuttai i am sorry... but... "God bless you and...". lady, either you must be the chef's mother or just too happy to have figured out how to add your comment. may be you should ask God to give the Vaf-Chef enough enlightenment to add more specifics and instructions.

  • @desidj75 If you do not like the show than do not watch and keep your mouth shut. If you think you are good than put up a video. It is a waste of time to deal with people like you!

  • I have cooked this dish a couple of times, my version is a little different as I cannot afford all the ingredients but still tastes great.

  • this is very honest and direct approach instead of sugar-coating and making more entertainment and less cooking. this chef tells you what is necessary and to those who are serious about making a dish. he concentrates on cooking based on taste as he is not health consious i noticed but he is upfront about it and doesnt go around bulsshitting like some ppl with the olive oil and fruits and organic crap

  • most scrumptious dish i've ever made:)....thnx

  • thank you chef ...you are the greatest......

  • i am impressed by the logical explanation of each and every step of your style of cooking.realy imp for becoming a seasoned cook

  • vjxyzyz that was a cracker but throw away all yoru plastic utensils especially those that come in direct contact with heat, not good for you even if you dont burn them or melt them, avoid putting plastic into microwaves as well unless they are microwave safe. They can contribute to cell mutations and potentially cancer if used for a long period of time...

  • i like the way it looks and moreover i like sincerety in the way the chef explained the recp..

  • Hey ! sanjay, you are an awsome cook ,.I love Indian Cooking , and you give so many little tips on how to cook a dish w/ exact tast / consistancy .. thanks a lot for posting on You tube ..

  • I love your style and i have tried many recipes, enjoy them tremendously but wth this one i think there might be a mistake?

Chicken cook for only 5 minutes? Maybe it should be 25? I tried it but chicken was still raw!!!! Is that how it supposed to be?

  • At the step when you added the chicken, you might not have let the tomatoes simmer out their juices...then you might not have had enough heat. He didn't use boned-chicken..should cook in 5 min. Maintain the heat.

  • @TatGarden

You obviously need to cook it until its done. different pans, different stoves, different heat.. so you cant really put down the cooking time accurately..

  • coriander leaves = cilantro

  • thank u so much...i made it for dinner ystrday...and my hubby liked it so much....he really loved it...but for me to cook the chicken it took 10-20 mins...anywayz thank u so much..

  • Omg I wish I could reach in and eat it.

  • you r soooooooooo cuteee

  • yyyuuummmmmmyyy

  • thank chef

    u r great

  • What makes the decision between your use of red onions or white ?

  • its differs according to taste

if u like some chicken kurma, use red but for other use white one

  • ginger garlic paste in made from raw ginger and garlic pods.

the usual ratio is 50gms of ginger to 25 grams of garlic but you can alter it depending on your needs. peel ginger, deskin garlic and grind it to a paste in misture blender. do not add water.

you can use domestic mixers like magic bullet to do this.

  • how do I make the ginger garlic paste? I've never cooked Indian food before and it looks great.

  • you rock me man.....look so delicious!

  • I love this guys enthusiasm. Going to try this recipe today.
