I am a little jaded by sophie's mum now blaming "Weed" for violent behaviour. In my experience, cannabis makes people subdued and peaceful. This kind of generalisation will win her no friends in the campaign against 'Intolerance' with such an 'intolerant' statement. The Subject of Sophie Lancaster has always been one that never fails to upset me. What happened to Sophie was disgraceful. I am also labelled as a goth and i also have been beaten up. But i just find it truly horrific what happened to her. I feel so sorry for everybody that lost her, Robert and her mother especially. Its so sad to hear that a innocent young woman was murdered because of the music she liked and it is shocking when it happens to anyone.
Hopefully people will realize this.

I am a little jaded by sophie's mum now blaming "Weed" for violent behaviour. In my experience, cannabis makes people subdued and peaceful. This kind of generalisation will win her no friends in the campaign against 'Intolerance' with such an 'intolerant' statement. I think these scumbags who did this to Sophie and Rob should be used to test medical items on, and life should be generally made hel for them. They have taken away someone, and made life hell for others.
Also i would like to say that i admire Sophie's family, and Rob's for being strong in such a situation.

i only found out about this a couple of days ago (i am in australia) and i'm horrified it wasn't publicized more. i have been verbally abused by strangers, i have seen first-hand the kind of ignorance there is towards goths and other alternative cultures. sophie was a beautiful girl, and i can only imagine the pain suffered by rob. seeing reports in which he says he wished she had run away to save herself and left him, i couldn't stop myself from crying. rest in peace, sophie lancaster.

He said that the mother was an alcoholic and the father was a thug himself and would be proud that his son is in prison.
