I'm feeling the pride of being an MGS fan. But I seriously think that MGS Rising looks like nothing compared with the rest of the series. You don't even get to be Solid Snake OR Big Boss. It would be good if they remade the REALLY old Metal Gear games, which were on the NES system. They could be awesome if remade, and if Hideo Kojima was involved.
I don't get this? Is this why the music wasn't in the latest MGS? I did wonder why I never heard it. I was expecting it in the final part of the game, that would have finished the series off perfectly, but it never came. Can someone explain this to me?
@mikewannabes Rising is a prequel to MGS4. It's where Raiden is rising to be the Raiden in MGS4, the suit he has on in Rising it missing peices and isn't aswell put together, so you never know but I do doubt it.

Snake died at end of MGS4 (guns of the patriots) when he was at the graveyard he suicided a bullet in his head so we think There comes a MGS 5 but u play as raiden that thinks evry1
he didnt kill himself he shot the bullet somewhere else because a the end theres a white background and you can hear octcon and snake talking to each other

I know that his on coma when liquid take his body and take a little blood from naked then he said "we dont need it anymore" then vamp trow it to big mama and solid snake then the body drop to the fire big mama(eva) try to save naked body and snake try to save her from burning thats why solid got burn in the left side of his face!

gotta say though, the new themes they are using keep the feel of MGS very well, as much as i like the old themes, the music compositions are still top notch. MPO 'showtime' is one of the best pieces of MGS music imo. Peaces Walkers theme so far is also impressive. I was sad to see the theme banned until i heard what they could still produce on their own. Glass half full over here.
Wait a minute... They removed this staple music when they learned that Harry Gregson Williams sort of ripped off Sviridov's music? The composer was russian?
It wasn't harry It was TAPPY back in 1996 (check the concept E3 1996 trailer) and konami was afraid of legal issues with Russian composers ( after 10 years they noticed that one of their most "beloved" (for not to said forgotten) art pieces became beloved pop culture), so the most coherent decision was to ban the theme without ask the fans.

theres 2 new metal gears been annouced......1 on the psp set after MGS3 thats wat the new pig of big boss is all about, they 2nd 1 is out on the 360 and PS3 and there is no story revelations apart from raiden is back!!! both out this year

The point I was trying to make is that while he's still a whiny prat of a character, he's also the damn Cyborg Ninja. All he had in MGS2 was a emo identity crisis and a pissant Mk22. In MGS4 he has an emo family crisis, many, many cybernetic parts and a sweet HF Blade.

Why is there a console war in every video based on consoles?!
Especially here, Metal Gear Solid will not go to the Xbox because every other one has been exclusive. It has a deep story line and only PS owners will know it, it would be pointless bringing it to Xbox as it would make so sence. It's like watching the start of a film but it's the most important part because the rest won't make sence. Besides, the next MGS will be on the 'PSP Go'.

OK Here is the deal, Metal Gear Rising is a new metal gear franchise. just like ''metal gear solid 1, 2, 3, 4'' and ''metal gear 1, 2'' before that. but this new franchise is going to be multi platform. ''metal gear SOLID (aka snake)'' will not be going to 360 and when number 5 is released it will be exclusive for ps3, its another big boss adventure. so no need to wet your pants. and anyway, 360 version will be compressed. Ps3 will enjoy it the way it is supossed to be, uncompressed & HD! Enjoy

yeah the "C" is missing, by roots I mean Sviridov, we can't pretend that the theme is just a series of coincidences one after other, so I think it's important to give him credit on the 1st place, but I really wish that the Russian composers recognize too the fact that we are talking about sviridov right know is metal gear and that the legacy must continue to spread
Yeah, I really hope this(or something similar to this) will get that MGS theme back into it's rightful place. I really can't wait for news about this new Metal Gear. I don't know what to expect! Only that this game will be epic...(as long as Kojima is directing/writing). Also, thanks for the downloads of the pics!

no! in fact he is whynnier than ever, in mgs2 he was very WTF is going on?? (me to since that was the 1st mgs that i played) the only thing bad about raiden on mgs2 is that "do you remember what day is tomorrow?" thing and that over extended girlfriend codec calls, but in mgs4 he is suckier than ever before specially with that "it was raining the day I born" he's the emo-ninja boy, the only good thing about riden on mgs4 are the fight, but his character dismemberment is just to brutal

The point I was trying to make is that while he's still a whiny prat of a character, he's also the damn Cyborg Ninja. All he had in MGS2 was a emo identity crisis and a pissant Mk22. In MGS4 he has an emo family crisis, many, many cybernetic parts and a sweet HF Blade.

Why is there a console war in every video based on consoles?!
Especially here, Metal Gear Solid will not go to the Xbox because every other one has been exclusive. It has a deep story line and only PS owners will know it, it would be pointless bringing it to Xbox as it would make so sence. It's like watching the start of a film but it's the most important part because the rest won't make sence. Besides, the next MGS will be on the 'PSP Go'.
Just to un-bias my point, Halo will never go to PS.

OK Here is the deal, Metal Gear Rising is a new metal gear franchise. just like ''metal gear solid 1, 2, 3, 4'' and ''metal gear 1, 2'' before that. but this new franchise is going to be multi platform. ''metal gear SOLID (aka snake)'' will not be going to 360 and when number 5 is released it will be exclusive for ps3, its another big boss adventure. so no need to wet your pants. and anyway, 360 version will be compressed. Ps3 will enjoy it the way it is supossed to be, uncompressed & HD! Enjoy

yeah the "C" is missing, by roots I mean Sviridov, we can't pretend that the theme is just a series of coincidences one after other, so I think it's important to give him credit on the 1st place, but I really wish that the Russian composers recognize too the fact that we are talking about sviridov right know is metal gear and that the legacy must continue to spread

Yeah, I really hope this(or something similar to this) will get that MGS theme back into it's rightful place. I really can't wait for news about this new Metal Gear. I don't know what to expect! Only that this game will be epic...(as long as Kojima is directing/writing). Also, thanks for the downloads of the pics!
