You're a moron. The tax cuts were approved in 2006, before the recession started. When circumstances change, so must government policies. In 2006, Canada was growing at a healthy pace and had a budget surplus, hence we could afford a tax cut. Today, we are still in a recession, and government needs the extra revenue to provide a social safety net for those that are the worst hit by the recession. Where's that extra revenue going to come from? The minimum wage worker or the big corporations?
