@Tungdor Yes, mma can be effective but it is a game just like say taekwondo sparring. You can't rip out the eyesockets of the opponent like a real fight or rip out their throat. I do kung fu and sanda, capoeira, taekwondo, and then some savate, muay thai, everythign after that is just thrown together.
Also I believe you actually do mma, not sure about skill, most people on here and mma fanboys. The ones who go "mma is streetfighting and is the best" so nice to meet you
@LightxKira5643 sorry, i miss read. I am learning mande muda tri suwanda and margaluyu pusat silat. Both of them are an old style of sundanese silat. And i agree with you. Older/ancient style are more complex but it took along time to master it. I am newbie in MMA, well i took MMA lesson just for fun, for survive on the street i will never use it, i will use silat instead :)
