hmmm......yeh they are good phones...But I dont know..I had a long time ago a nokia 6600 (the simbyan version) and the games where beter...with betes sounds like on a N gage.And I had 2 S.E phones A k770i and K810 they where both good...until they fucket up.Both had similar problems after 6-7 months The reacharge and handsfree jack fucket up and the software as well.And both where new. Now I am a proud owner of a nokia 5310 and 6680..Peace

If u have money you should buy C902 but this is Great Phone. Once i dropped it into toilet full of shit then Washed it with soap and left for 1 day after that its still working that happened to me Maybe 1 year or more ago..

I have this phone, but I'm not impressed with the video playback. It's all blocky and pixelated. My Nokia 6280 was better playback, and that was only 2mp.

yes, it k850 has bigger display than k800.. i have both. and they're of the same size. it's an optical trick.. k850 even has smaller height.

It comes preinstalled, but if you have and older firmware and that's why you don't have it try looking up 'Sony Ericcson Laser precision theme'

try erm... type "lasyk" in google and it should come up with website dedicated to sony ericsson; games, themes, ringtones and sotware. on the irst screen you should be able to select your handset, k850i :D hope this helped

The one in the video is R1DA038. But I've updated the firmware since then. Now it's R1EA037. Very stable.

Its an alright phone, but I've had it for about 1/2 year now and there has been a problem with it twice..and taht was sometimes when i tried to access my inbox it didnt let me and therefore i had to completely reset my phone and therefore deleting all my messages which wasnt very satisfying...

I like the xenon flash on the k850i though, but then again I can't use it as a flash light...

Hello there. I do have a W810i as well. One of my favourite mobiles. And by the way, K850i has two flashes: xenon and led. You can use the led as the flashlight. The same way you do on W810i. N95 is a great phone as well. It all depends, what do you need do with a mobile. If there is a need for a smartphone and etc, get N95. The batery life is so-so and lacks a xenon flash. If you really want a smartphone, get Nokia N82 instead. It's got xenon flash as well. Cheers!

I got the N82 (black) and it is the worst phone I have ever used. It crashes several times a day, goes black screen, and doesn't open applications when I press them - it just says loading for about 2 minutes and then it goes back to standby. The camera is the only nice thing about it. I will probably be going back to Sony Ericsson asap :)

Just because you had bad luck with one particular device does not make all of the SE K850i bad. A lot of people are happy with this phone. I've had no problems so far.

try phoning sony erricson they quote over 80 percent over k850i owners are having trouble ide say thats more than bad luck, ide say its poor workmanship and lack of pre sales testing.

Hello there. I'd say that there is definitely a speed improvement. Even though, I had no significant glitches with the previous firmware (037), now it's even better. Camera focuses faster, java loads faster too. I updated it through DaVinci. You probably know their site. Good luck!
