Whether people hated her or not, she was still a de-facto Quartermaine. And she shouldn't have been killed off. Now Monica has lost all 4 of her children: Dawn, AJ, Jason Q and Emily. She never deserved that and I do wish that they would bring Dawn back

@AishwaryaRaiOnline1 You were in the minority. Everyone (mostly) HATED Dawn (that is why she was recast so many times). I remember viewers (mostly, again) cherring when she died.

@bluenail03 I remember at the time the show making a lot of changes when Gloria Monty returned. She ruined the show for awhile there when Tony Geary returned playing a different character. I use to love Dawn and Decker and the final actress who played her was the best one. But I can understand viewers disliking her since I thought the writing for her went downhill once she got together with Decker.

@AishwaryaRaiOnline1 I rememeber when GM returned and just about killed GH - but most everyone was relieved when Dawn fate was sealed forever.

@bluenail03 Yep - Gloria Monty really did almost kill GH.  This was a very low point for GH, however, Leslie Charleson still gave a stellar performance.

Amy's being terribly rude finding satisfaction with her gossiping when it comes to someone who had just died! Standing smilin pretty listening to conversations that don't involve her she could've at least backed off of at least this one time...why does she find it so juicy that Dawn died? It's a wonder this girl never had a bf. She never did her job and she always had to know everything!

I remember seeing this when it first aired, and I could have sworn that Tony came out and Monica could tell from the look on his face that Dawn died. But I've seen several different edits of these scenes, and none of them have that in there. Can it be that GH didn't show Monica learning that her daughter died?
