Note: Most of the footage in this video is from the demo version at E3 2009. The actualy game has much better grafics! The dungeons shown are not from the actual game (ecept for the battle with Stagnox Armored Collosuss) and the controllable Phantom is acctually Zelda! In the game her phantom body is pink and has the creast of New Hyrule on the back.

Look, yes, the graphics aren't that good, and link does not look like the original, but its still a good game. Just because he's riding a train doesn't make this a bad game. Toon link looks pretty good for the ds, and I don't understand why people hate it. Just enjoy Zelda, and have fun with it. The legend of zelda will always be the legend of zelda.

Same ideas? This is far different than any other Zelda out there. Also, this is just Toon Link's design. It supposedly takes place 100 years after Phantom Hourglass, meaning it's probably a new Link. And admittedly, the train idea is rather strange at first glance, but why not give it a fair chance?

I'd have to disagree; ST looks to be vastly different than TWW and PH, except for the graphical style. This is especially apparent since it doesn't even take place in the sea anymore (it's 100 years after PH). Actually, most people are complaining about how it's being different by using a train and not the usual boat/horse.

Also, with game development, it's wise to reuse a perfectly good engine. SMG2 may not be entirely new, but SMG1's engine shouldn't be wasted.

what i think is that this zelda is the one that shigeru miyamoto mentioned at e3 2008 that was being developed by a new group with new ideas with the help of the core developers, so thats why new ideas like the train are on this game! they did it on ds because maybe they didnt want to risk the real new zelda wii confirm on e3 2009 with those new casual ideas. i still think that phantom hourglass was great game, better atleast than any other psp game i think. this one could be even better!

The zelda games don't need to look cuter, they need to be more like OOT and MM, stirr up many different emotions but still be serius about the 'mission' the hero has. The Phantom Hourglass made me laugh a few times, but not really anything more. The hardcore feeling is what is missing, clearing this game with 3 hearts on 1 day too soon kinda sucked. This game just feels kinda like random things picked toghether. :/

The zelda wii game is said to be the sequel to TP. Though he said he plans to make the gameplay something new, I hope it still remains close to TP, but with may improvements. I hope to see graphics that look all the way done, not just half way, as well as a harder difficulty.
