An old Classic. A folk Masterpiece. In those days of late 1960s/early 1970s It was THE MESSAGE that mattered in a song. The imperfections of the Drum-sound,the vocals, the guitars were the magic of these gone-by days where for 5 Shillings =(25p in Today's money) you would go into the Marquee Club - London and hear the greatest talents perform; Yes,Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Ten Years After, etc.
Thanks so much - brilliant. I'd forgotten what this version was like having seen him live lots of times on his own now, mainly in pubs, it's strange to hear it with guitar and strings - presumably Mick Ronson on guitar and Rick Kemp on bass?? Great pictures/production. Cheers.
